Well, I'd be happy to see him take a few. I'm not expecting any miracles in Round 7, but what I am expecting to see is the best team in the league. Its a catch 22 for me, because I want to see the best team in the league play to their ability, but at the same time, that could mean an absolute shellacking for us. Here's hoping we play to our potential too, and just put on a good game, regardless of result (a win would be preferred of course though )

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

My GF is pretty happy with herself coming up with "Schneiderman", especially as she has only been following AFL for a few years! She even noticed a Schneiderman sign in the cheer squad.

Schneiderman seems popular!!! I've taken to calling him that myself after hearing my dad scream it a couple of times.

He's not there yet, but Schneides may eventually fill Paul Kelly's void as my favourite player...

You may have seen Irena or Johnny Jay holding up one of their new banners in the Cheer Squad to that effect. As the Channel 10 cameras love quick grabs to people holding signs rather than waving flags the "Schneiderman" banner got plenty of airtime.

In other news a Barry Hall goal actually went straight through Len's sign. He held it up to fend the ball away, and to everyone's dismay the pill went straight through it.

what is the line from the original "friendly neighbourhood Schneider-man song"

is it "at the speed of light he arrives just in time"

Bought time the banner bought in some Fawlty Towers humour

Thanks for the chords and lyrics Reggi (I've started working on a jazz-fusion arrangement). Incidentally, you wouldn't happen to have the tablature for The Hulk theme, would you?

I've spoken to my manager - I don't do requests.

Can't even remember the Hulk theme - never liked the cartoon

too early to pronounce him a champion. Boy that word gets used loosely. You have to perform consistently over a number of years and when the opposition make you more accountable. So far so good but some way to go to earn those plaudits.
