Just thought I would start it. He did some good things. Just the one case of being outmarked. As they say in Home Economics.... sew sew.
Where's the LRT thread?

Gee I thought he was OK. Dare I suggest his best game. How many goals did the Eagles kick?
I don't think he stuffed anything up and was good to see when he got the ball in traffic he kept his arms free to get a handball away.
Luke Ablett, that was dumb footy towards the end . They get that goal and we would have been under big pressure. -
I thought he had a really good game today. No clangers that I can recall, he hit most targets, took some strong marks and did some great low pick-ups and handballs. Besides misreading the ball and allowing his opponent to mark in the last quarter, I thought he was pretty good.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

No doubt barry will be happy with his match today and will tell us all about it when he re-joins usOnce was, now elsewhereComment

Positives
He has a great ability to pick up the loose ball and handball it out to a running defender. Seems to be growing more confident each week and I thought he did good jobs on very different opponents Chick, Staker and Cox. Also, made a ripper of a tackle on Staker early in the 1st quarter that set the tone for the rest of the match.
Negative
One-on-one marking is still very suspect. He seems to be watching the man and not the ball and ends up being caught out of position.Comment

I reckon he has the best second efforts in our team. Big call I know, but in almost every game he recovers very quickly to apply pressure on the opposition after initially being caught out of position.
His disposals were probably his best this year.Visit my eBay store -

Thought he continued his improvement from the past few weeks. Was a little worried in the 3rd when he was running out of defence being chased by a Toaster, but the kick to Hall was fantastic - perfect drop punt onto Hall's chest. Then a minute or two later made a big spoil on the opposite side of the ground that went to our player.
Next week will be a big test for him playing probably on McGregor on a ground where CHF is a key position - the past 3 weeks he's played at the SCG twice (where CHB/CHF don't really exist in the traditional sense) and against Melbourne who don't have a CHF.

Still some way to go to become the next "Cornes"......probably late next year I'd say.

Lrt should not have been playing for the last 5 or 6 weeks based on the form of those games ie: he should have been dropped after each and every game.
Having said that, we can't change history and after todays effort, he deserves to retain his position next week.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Played a great game today. Really lifted for the occasion. Of course there wasn't as classy CHF to play on, so he was sort of the loose tall in defence.
One thing that did concern me was that when Cox floated forward he kicked four and they looked really dangerous. Whilst I'm not blaming LRT for it, our defence struggled regardless.
We'll see how he does over the next five weeks, because his performances down there are really critical for us.Our Greatest Moment:
