    Barry Hall

The best brain explosion of the night...10 out from goal not a hard angle at all...andhandballs it to a player with dee defenders swarming all over him.

Could have been a big turning point of the game.

Another quality brain explosion brought to you by the QBE Sydney Swans.

I actually thought it was the right choice - except that he needed to be about 10 seconds quicker and the execution better. He didn't give the receiver any chance with the one he finally dished off. I thought disposal in the F50 was possibly the worst aspect of the Swans game yesterday for the first 3 quarters.

And I wish certain players would take more responsibility for shooting for goal themselves. How many times did we have a guy running into the forward 50 with momentum, still plenty of space in front of them and on an OK angle, only to look to kick the ball square to the otherside of the 50 rather than shoot for goal?

i think when the FF is 10 metres out on a 45 degree angle he should kick the goal rather than having two team-mates putting doubt in his mind by jumping up and down asking for the ball
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.

Still, after the brain explosion we still ended up with an easy chance to kick a goal, yet davis sprayed it. Should have been bread an butter for a player with "white boots"

          What did happen there?

NO! Barry, just kick it! You know you can....what? Hand balled to someone else?

          You're right, brain explosion bummer.

Almost as bad as the one the ump had last week when he took (yet another) goal from Barry Hall.

I'm sorry, but 10 metres out on a 45 degree angle?

What the hell was he thinking?

He is a full forward, 10 METRES OUT!!!!

If he isn't confident there, he should be dropped or re positioned.

That is NEVER the right answer (to handball)

Sure, sometimes it may come off, bu\t it is never the right decision for ANY player, let alone a full forward.

            OK, Dunkley, maybe lol

Yes, a definite "goosey award" contender. It is a difficult one. In hindsight it was a bad option. At the time it could have worked, but BBBH was just a couple of seconds too slow with the handball... But I agree with the fact that the FF should have gone back and kicked...at the worst it brings the same result (no score) at the best a goal...that's also why I am with Lizz here in wanting us to take more responsibility when heading into the attacking 50. Most times, shoot at goal...unless a MUCH better option presents itself...it's simple, the more people who handle the ball, the greater the risk of turning it over...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

There were quite a few brain explosions in the forward 50. I'd rather see a player miss a chance than squander it entirely. I did feel a little better after watching the Roos V Carlton game where both teams did the same thing!
