I just hope that winning 3 out of the next 4 games will be enough to guarantee a top 4 spot! Because if not, it will look more like

      Elimination Final W
      Semi-Final W
      Preliminary Final W
      Grand Final L!

Needless to say, I'm willing to accept a loss to the Hawks in Round 22 if we have a top 4 spot sewn up by then

And these on-field omens do have some credibility - just consider this from 2004:

The Swans beat every team in the competition once, except for Port Adelaide, the eventual premiers. The thunder and lightning at the Weagles game turned out to be a sign of a Port premiership - after all, that IS their clash jumper! (Hey, maybe these superstitions do have some merit)

Out of all the teams the Swans played twice, the result of the second meeting was the reverse of the first clash. That win over St. Kilda in Round 11 proved pretty costly!
There's also some superstition about Liverpool, the pope dieing, and Prince Charles getting married too. Well, not a superstition to be exact but a relationship of some sorts. Don't ask me what the relationship is though, because I have absolutely no interest in Liverpool, Prince Charles, or the Pope
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

Anyway , I will tell you the result of Sunday's game on Friday.

If I see TS from my office window , bathed in light , we win.
If it's overcast , we lose.

Trust me , this one works every time.

ooooh but is that only when we play at the SCG, or TS?

Get on board now for a big multilpier at the TAB. I reckon if this trend continues (and you get $3 on Hawks to beat us) it will be worth about 50/1

I have my reticular activating system (RAS) programmed to look for the number of male TV media folk who wear a red and white tie. They could be news hounds from any channel, of simply some Talking Head "anwhere". And do we win on the week they do? Well the answer is "invariably". Particularly the Kerry O'Briens et al of the airwaves. And I guess that paints me as an ABC viewer - so forgive me.

Unless of course, the fashion vogue at the moment is matched to OUR particular colour combination.

Was TS bathed in light? Don't keep me in suspense.
