Adelaide get away with a mediocre forward line because of the high skill level of their midfield, and their ability to kick goals and deliver quality ball. Their backline was outstanding against us first time around as well. Even though Swans are about an 8 goal better team now compared to earlier in the season, we will need to be at our very best.

Big worry for me is that this is a night game. Apparently a night game at Football Park can be the same as playing in the wet.

      How about both?

TREND for Adelaide, Saturday, Sunday and Monday :
Cloudy periods with a few showers, clearing late in the weekend. Maximum temperatures in the mid to high teens.

            I am quietly confident.

It really all comes down to how our boys pull up mentally and physically.

We sure got a massive positive "hammering" from the media yesterday in Sydney (front AND back page of both The Australian and SMH) so they surely must realise how the supporters feel

Night footy in Adelaide can be very dewy. BTW I disagree that McGregor's not a good mark. I think his marking's better than his kicking.

I think Adelaide's greatest strength is its midfield, but if we can beat West Coast's midfield there's no reason to believe that we can't also beat Adelaide's so long as we are playing at our best. I think our forward line would be causing Neil Craig sleepless nights at the moment, trying to work out who to match up on Hall, MOL, ROK, Schneider etc. Our defence should be good enough for their forwards. We can win this as I still dont believe that Adelaide are as good as 2nd place would suggest. However, a packed AAMI Stadium on a cold wet Sat night is perhaps our biggest obstacle.

I think we thought that last time we met!!

I was also about to ask who LRT played on, but he missed rnd 4.

Macgregor Looks a likely match up for LRT, size wise.

What a great site, being able to compare players like that. I've not seen it before - thanks.

Re LRT v McGregor, they are same height and almost same weight and age. McGregor has more experience and is undoubtedly a better player but with LRT's improvement over the last couple of weeks, perhaps he is the man for the job. Then again, compare Schauble: http://www.footywire.com/fw/web/ft_p...tid2=2&pid2=14

Maybe (just maybe) that's why we lost.

McG might be too quick for Schauble. Don't know really?.

But then, all LRT has to do is punch from behind. Looking at the pic his arms look longer than McG, so that could be an advantage.

He has probably also improved, since then too (one would hope ).
