But it's a consultant's dream - you can say everything & nothing at the same time!

I can increasingly see its application for RWO now that I think about - Roosy AND ROK should be using it for their respective Q&A sessions.

My comment has nothing to do with our current form and you know that. You are twisting it for the sake of an argument.

If Paul Roos is trying to make an outrageously attractive man cry he certainly is succeeding.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Has anyone seen Schauble play in the twos? How is his speed? Any FB would have trouble with speedsters like Gehrig or Neitz over the first twenty metres, but I think he might still be able to trouble Cox, Gardiner,Lade and a few others.
As I remember his disposal it was OK.
In any case I thought a significant part of his value down back was as an organiser - not too much wrong with his decision making either.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

You said Schaubles 'treatment' by the match committee was a low point of the season.

What are you basing that on then ?

Are you privy to the match committee discussions or have you discussed it with Schauble ?

Failing either of those things, you would have to base picking the right side on results, would you not ?

I thought we were the match committee! And now the bloody coach has overruled this thread and isn't taking Schaubs to Adelaide.

When will he learn? (Hopefully, not on Saturday night.)

He's taking an extra tall, but Vogels over Schuable.
Now, from reading the reserves match reports on here, Schuabs has been far more impressive in the 2's, so as much as its great to give young kids a go, shouldnt we be concentrating on getting our best 25 or so players ready for this years finals ?? Developing players can be done in the first 15 rounds next year.

                  Roos' @@@@s me sometimes.

I think if we're going to do well in finals we will need another tall, possibly a CHF. Possibly he's trying to blood Vogels for this.

We need another big defender against StKilda and Melbourne. Not sure who else we really need Schauble against. Possibly Lynch (WC).
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Maybe, but he's leaving it a little late.

IMO Schuable should be used as FB on a needs basis. But to get up to speed for the Gehigs and Neitz's he needs a few runs in the seniors first.

                        I haven't been crying???

Roos probably wants to put an extra tall i nthe forward line to stretch their defence.

Schauble looks completely fit to me, his speed seems much as it has always been.

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

The fact that Schauble's not emergency indicates how he's rated at the moment perhaps?
