At the Champions dinner two years ago I was telling LRT that he had to bulk up over the summer. He had a beer in his hand and said "Jeez, I'm drinking as hard as I can". But he certainly put on muscle over the summer. Apparently those who played rugby with him say he was one of the most talented players they had ever seen. Yep - there are moments of terror when he has the ball (and not just set shots) but they are ebcoming less. He's been taking some good contested marks recently. Last weekend he had a beauty when he took the contested mark and instantly unloaded it to the only Swan not in congestion.

He ain't perfect - so SOS is a great idea - but he deserves to be in our best 22 on merit these days.

Note it mentions how hard he has been on himself. That was obvious with Dempster too when he missed the shot on goal and immediately sprinted off only to be turned back onto the field. Earlier, when we were losing, there were some here saying that Roos should get tough. I think that the faith shown by the coaches and teammates adds more than 10% to some players performance - did you note the pure joy on Baz' face when Jolly threaded that tricky one through (and was the first to run over and congratulate him)?

The worlds first 'self-dragging' footballer, it used to be that players would pretend not to notice runners coming out to drag them. Times have changed.

He did and the idiot umpire paid Cox a free agaist him.

Sorry all, I seem to have developed a stutter in my post

Thanks for the article TH - it's great news and the results are already evident. Next time LRT will know what to do with Woewodin.
And I'm pleased to see he's been working with the team's psychologist. I bet the first thing he said was "Stop reading RWO."
Lewis is one of the gutsiest, most determined players I have seen and the skills and footy nous are now starting to be added in. I'm delighted the coaches have had faith in him - he'll be a player in demand but we're in on the ground floor and I believe he'll stick with people who've stuck with him.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

His 2nd efforts have been as good as anyone else's in the team this season.

Hopefully he will continue to improve and he will have less and less need to make those 2nd efforts coz his first efforts will be good enough to win the contest regularly.

              Yes.

Sorry if I was wrong. At least I can recognise LRT. And easier to pick Baz now Nicksy won't be there with matching pate. But Amon and Adam walking off the ground together looked like Frodo and Sam emerging from Mordor.
