Yeah - I thought there were a couple in the third quarter that were dodgy. I also that many they received were there too - they were first to the ball and we were sloppy in the third qtr.

In the first half, it ran for us.

Can't recall what goals they received from free kicks.

Don't think it's the reason we lost though.

      Didn't think you would either.

Amazing their comeback when the frees went their way - just a coincedence or a sign of their brilliant football?

If I was to compare this match to another match, it would have to be Australia vs Iran, 1997 World Cup qualifier (soccer). In both matches 5 minutes of good play and scoring from the opposition was enough to sink the Good Guys.

Well - 3 goals without us touching it in the first 3 minutes of the third quarter (they were unlucky not to get a 4th) weren't the result of dodgy umpiring as far as I can recall. They also kicked 2 goals at the end of the second quarter when the umpiring was running our way.

I admit they kicked 3 quick ones but what happened then?

I said 3 to 1 against us winning the free kick count - I was worried in the 1st qtr but "The Members" got them home.

As a matter of interest, when was the last game that you think we got dudded?

It's about 7 weeks in a row were we have got less free kicks, doesn't mean bad umpiring but it IS indicative.

No point complaining about the umpiring, I don't recall any terrible decisions. We had chances to win it in the 1st and 4th quarters and didn't take em.

Very irritated by the way they were so indecisive in the second quarter when 60 metres out (several times). On one occasion, Hall I think, short passed to Williams in a no closer position than himself then likewise Williams tried to shortpass to Davis with a shocking kick that didn't come off. For Gawd's sake just kick it into the square - who knows Jolly might take a big grab.

I can't recall. I certainly can't remember the last time it made a huge difference. Probably Richmond and Collingwood were the last two shockers that I can remember.

We give away lots of silly free kicks, like Kennelly who frequently grabs the jumper of his opponent. This year he is 12 free kicks for and 22 against. Barry is similar - partly because he is often outsized and partly because he can be reckless.

That's not to say I don't think we don't get a hard time in various games, particularly Hall, but every supporter thinks that about their team and umpires.

Tonight had a lot in common with the game again Port at AAMI in 2003. We blew them out of the water in the first quarter and kicked something like 2 9. They regrouped and we didn't have the margin to hold them out.

I hope the suggestion that the bad kicking for goal came from tired legs from last week is true. Otherwise the yips have returned. Buchanan should be sent to zen school - you could just see his kick was going to miss from 15 out. Needs to take a deep breath before he kicks. Strange how Magic now comes good for the big kicks but Baz doesn't.

Also I presume Baz has been told not to contest the ball when it spills in case he gets injured - at one stage he just stood and watched as the other Swans went in? And Nicky D took the very soft option a few times.

Let's hope that poor performance gives them a kick in the arse for the last 4 rounds. The Crows still have to play the Dees, Port, Pies and Eagles. Not an easy run home.

Apart from the Eagles, and the Dockers who ran over a worn out Adelaide, that was the hardest the Crows have been pushed. Their defence was too good, excellent one on one and they flooded. But the real crime was some missed opportunities especially Buchanan and ROK. Some of them weren't sitters but those two in particular shouldn't be missed. Matthews' disposal was as horrible as it ever was but Ball, Vogels, Crouch, Ablett, and even MOL were terrible on occasions and costly. Sometimes slowing the game down too much allowed them to flood too easily. The Eagles match probably did take its toll to an extent and the conditions possibly contributed to some of the errors.

God damn frustrating game to watch, chances chances chances!
The domination of the 1st half by us was superb, but the reward we got was clost to zilch. We should've won but i don't really wanna torture myself with the what if's.

I thought the commentary from Campbell was a disgrace.

Goodes you are a god damn star and i really want him to be captain now.

LRT geez he's looking good atm. Thanks SOS.

Does Moore have a rugby background? That tackle he laid on Bock,I think in the third quarter was massive.
I thought Vogels was far from our worst player. He links up well with his teammates and can dispose of the ball.Remeber he hasn't played since round eight.

Adelaide only kicked 3 behinds All the others were rushed.
That's 11 Scoring shots in the game and we let them win??
