Hopefully if we do draw a game at Footy Park it will be scheduled as a day game. There must've been a heap of dew on the field last night. I can't recall the Swans fumbling the ball so frequently - JBolt, Leo, Crouch and Micky O being some culprits who spring to mind.

If we had won last night we still would have been quite a way behind in percentage. We'd only have gone to second if we won the rest and the Crows lost another. It was our chance but a win wouldn't have made it a done deal.

No, but now we're in effect 3 games from 2nd meaning it will take a virtual miracle to finish top 2. While we have a tough run home, and the Crows have a few more games at home coming up, had we kept winning through to the finals, we would have been reasonably hopeful of snaring 2nd with Adelaide heading to Subi to face the Eagles in Rd 22.

I think West Coast St Kilda GF is the most likely scenario but it will all depend on results from the first week of finals.

Our key game is going to be the Kangas at the SCG. If we win it will go a long way to securing 4th spot. Geelong and Melbourne's downfalls mean North are our main rivals for the top 4.

Because of our poor percentage I can't see us getting the 3rd meaning a week 1 final at Subiaco. The only advbantage in that would be missing them in the preliminary final.

Of course, winning at Subiaco would basically kill half the Big Footy threads about "Swans can't play a big ground" Haven't heard that much from last night.

We will do to them what Brisbane did to us - lose home and away , smash them in the finals.

Sure but it means we have no chance now.

A few weeks ago others here thought that 4th and playing against West Coast first up would be best and I tend to agree. Lose that, home final the following week then an away preliminary final against Crows or Saints. Last night did prove that we can beat Adelaide in Adelaide, we just have to kick str8 next time. Buchanan and ROK should spend as much time as possible on that aspect of their game.

Or win at Subiaco. (Now that would make my year.)

But we could still fall out of the 4.

Win our next 4 and we must finish 4th or higher. It is unlikely it would be higher due to our crappy percentage. I think the top 4 will stay as it is. At least our future is in our own hands.

If we win all 4 we should get 3rd. St Kilda have some tough games and it's quite likely that they'll drop one.

Based on last night I could see Adelaide dropping a few games as well but that's more unlikely.

Saints have Cats, Roos Freo and Lions. All are at Telstra except the Freo game is at Subi at night.

St Kilda at full strength look unbeatable. I think they will win all four and I would HATE to play them in a final.

They do look awesome but they have just come off 6 games against fellow Victorian sides who are currently in the bottom 8 plus Melbourne who will be soon.

The next 4 games will possibly all be harder than their last 7 - although Geelong are a bit of an unknown quantity at the moment.
