Pretty fair effort I thought. All but 2 minutes beat us, plus the absolute sitters missed in the last Q.

My Positives:
- Goodes back to brownlow form. Probably his most dominant game since the 03 Qualifying Final against Port. 25 yrs old, Brownlow medal. The perfect time to give him the captaincy.
- LRT. Alot of credit goes to the man for his good work. Will be a great test on the in-form Scott Lucas this Saturday Night.
Kirk - Solid as ever, my 2nd tip for captain.
- The effort of the players. They didn't do what a typical Sydney team did in past times and just switch off after a big game. (ala the Hawks game in 03 after the big win at the GABBA).Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

I think one positive is that Vogels lined up on the wing on at least one occassion. A tall player on the wing is something that I think we have been missing for a while, I don't know if it is the position for Luke as he seems a born KPP, but it is good to see a marking option playing there.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Goodes is not even in the calcs for the medal, yet has around 5 BOG's for mine. 4 games to go, what the odds.Comment

What are the 5 games you have him as BOG?
Adelaide, Geelong, Melbourne and ? and ?
FWIW, I think Cousins and Pavlich are miles ahead of the rest.Comment

While Goodes was very exciting, and it was good to see Vogels and Moore doing ok. I thought Jason Ball had a splendid game.

I was pleased to see the whole team keep going to the absolute end, despite the forwards attempts to beak their hearts. Very pleasing.Comment

I think Goodes could pick up votes against:
Essendon
Port
Collingwood
Geelong
Melbourne
Adelaide
Not sure how many BOGs though - I'm guessing maybe 3 at most. Which means he probably needs another 2.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
