Anyone see the Fevola set shot from about 65m today. He got about 40sec to kick it, and started his run up from about 90m out. It was raining. It fell about 15m short.

Can we just have the same rules please??

I have 2 sayings regarding Lloyd.

He is a pretty boy minus the pretty. (What an ugly fella). And,

      Where there's Lloyd, there's frees.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

What about a screenshot of Lloyd's visible panty lines?

I found it fascinating watching the replay. Let me say that Lloyd & HIrd are both superstars that I'd luv to see in R&W.

But both of them were playing sooooo much for frees by the end of the game it was staggering if they kept their feet. Hird literally fell forward every contest he was in (& why wouldnt he, given the # of frees he was in fact paid?) & the funniest part was when Lloyd marked in front of Leo once he even still flung himslef forward obviously thinking Leo must be on his tail (actually Leo was 5m behind but it's obviously second nature for Lloyd now).

Can't be a great example they're setting the youngsters coz presumably they don't get paid these frees every week - I mean they're not playing the Swans every week are they?

He should wear a thong if he's going to go hotpants.

A Collingwood fan on Big Footy has just said that Lloyd places the ball on the ground when lining up for a goal. This apparently tells the maggot that he intends to kick for the goal and is thus given more time, he reckons its an actual rule.

Does anyone know if this is the case?

                    Hall does the same thing.

The umpire blows time on when this happens.

BBBH seems to have taken to tossing the ball away rather than just placing it of late, but it still has the same effect.

I dont think its a rule, but its become a practice for the umpire to blow time-on when the ball is placed on the ground by the forward. Then it doesnt really matter how long he takes.

I believe its in the rules, rather than just practice, that if the ball is placed on the ground, that the ump calls time on.

Practice when calling time on seems to be when its stacks on before a ball up and it takes a while for all the players to get up, the umpire will call it, rather than waste 45 seconds while the players get themselves organised. Seems to happen more though late in quarters.

The rules are here and I don't see it mentioned anywhere?

Just wondering what the rule reaction would be if Leo, taking a goal saving mark in the back 50, if he put the ball down, threw up a blade of grass, lifted his socks, then picked the ball up??? Love to see it late in a game when we're up by 40 or so.

How can one rule apply to one and not another?
