    Noggy

Have to 'fess that I've been one of his most adamant critics in past years but his improvement this year has been extraordinary and at times he's been almost, well, Ablettesque.

Certainly an argument could be made that he has been the best Ablett in the AFL for the second half of 2005 & I think there is still plenty of improvement to come.

What do we think? Can he become one of the competition's elite midfielders? Or even just the best Ablett going round?

Only obvious flaw is his inability to get rid of the pill quickly.

Can be Matthews-like at times but great to see him snap that goal from a long way out after a poor handball from Bucky - maybe he's best when under a bit of pressure.

I love his thundering big kick and his ability to kick goals from 50+ metres out. His ability to win hard balls in midfield contests continues to improve.

It's always nice to have someone who can give it a real launch.

you may have been able to see it Saturday night except for the tosser umpire calling him to play on, even though he said he was settling for a shot. But at the other end there's time to make a cupa while Lloyd gets set.

I reckon NOG has almost limitless potential. I think he has this mental block, a lack of confidence that prevents him reaching his full potential. You see the glimpses when he is under pressure and forgets to worry about things and just executes.

I believe the difference between this year and last year is that some of these mental barriers have come down.

Can't wait for next year! He could be anything.

The woman I was sitting next to on Sat urday night challenged me to a quick game of Monopoly while Lloyd was shooting for goal. I bought Park Lane and Mayfair and had hotels on both by the time he steered it through.

If Lloyd had had a couple of extra shots on goal we could have finished our renovations.

Lloyd and Shoab use the same watch maker as Doc Emmett!

Definitely inapopriate, yes he was looking to go short but he was also just about within his range so he should have called time on not play on and allowed him to take a shot.

Why is Lloyd throwing tufts of grass into the air to check the wind, isn't Telstra Dome an indoor stadium?

I'd like to see Luke take kick outs every now and then, it might force his decision making hand a little and, if nothing else, he could give it a roost. An extra little bit of responsibility... obviously not easy to do in a tagging role

My ultime kick out taker would be Davis, can give it a roost and he is certainly willing to take a risk. The odds of short kicks to the pocket would be slim
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Davis would be a great option. The ability to clear the ball from D50 is quite dependent on the kicker and it would be a great advantage for our rebound attack.
