Not happy but the SCG has other charms.

TS is charmless - it's Westfield to the SCG's Oxford Street.

I don't mind either ground. TS is closer to where I live but SCG is actually easier for me to get to by either driving OR public transport - go figure.

I'd be interested to see how the Swans have performed at each ground in the few years they've been playing out at Homebush.

I agree with you blokes. The SCG is a modern day embarrassment. It's not like they discount your ticket price as a result of lack of expenses either.

We pay more for less at the SCG. That is wrong.

If the SCG offered more, ie stand, facility and infrastructure upgrades, then I would prefer the SCG to Telstra, but they won't do that, so Telstra has to be better.

Having said that, until we can get a consistent 50,000 to each game at Telstra, then the dollars won't add up.

It's a race for the SCG to upgrade before the Swans popularity dictates a move West.

No home ground advantage at the SCG as some believe.

The win-loss ratio at each since 2002 is 69%.

Thanks for that Bart, it's as I suspected.

Knock it all down, members stand and all. Build a Telstra Dome in its place.

There are many that subscribe to this argument, but surely the same should apply to Channel 10. They get caned in the ratings every Sat night when they show the Swans into Sydney, yet they persist, and should be applauded for doing so.

That said the AFL should be supporting the Swans against any financial shortfall relating to playing games at Homebush

I think the swans should stay at the SCG, but continue to play big games and finals out at telstra. But perhaps have the ability to move big games out there with short notice. (ala the WC game).

There will be a 2nd Sydney side some time, and they will need to make the west "theirs", so as a dedicated home ground telstra needs to be reserved for them.

I wouldn't support that at all!

Having spent last Friday and Saturday night as well as Sunday at the Dome, I still dislike the place. It is devoid of any warmth, any feeling. IMO, the fans bring the atmosphere, yet only if more than 40,000 of them rock up. Teams just play there, and no one 'owns' it. There's nothing that makes it special, unique. It's a blank canvas, with austere rooms and lacking in character. We already have the SFS/Aussie Stadium for that in Sydney.
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

                      Easy solution:

Put them at Nth Syd Oval with the rest of the old stands from the SCG.
