According to Sun Herald today, he played first half and about 8 minutes of third quarter. Story said he had a strong return and will play ressies again next week before considered for firsts.

Roos watched from the Grandstand. I wonder who went to watch the boneheaders play?

Saddo and Moore obviously played, given the scorers and 'best' list. Did they play full games or just a half? And how about Bevan?

These three are the emergencies for today and with slight injury clouds from last week over LRT and B1, thought that one might not have played in the reserves game (or just played a half).

              It's decision time vis-a-vis Schauble,

              1) He's had match practice!
He's spent at least the last 5 weeks playing in the 2's
              2) He's playing well!
Or as well as you can in the ACTFL
              3) He's Needed!
North are playing Rocca and Thompson up forward with Petrie and Hale making additional visits, no other team has such a tall and slow forward line.

If he isn't included this week he never will be!

True, but sadly even if he is it'll likely be as a swansong. I don't agree at all with the decision to axe Schauble, but team lists aren't long enough to keep someone on as a 'specialist' for those 2 or 3 teams in the comp who have a tall, slow forward line.

So unless there's a radical rethink in the next month (and why would there be?; the decision's been made, and Schauble's abilities aren't about to change overnight), logically he will have to get the chop. Along with a certain 'development player' who's about to turn 26 and hasn't managed to crack a league game this year. Which will leave us desperately short (so to speak) of depth (and backup options in the event of injury) in the backline. We'll need to recruit in established talent presuming that Guy Campbell and Heath Grundy aren't thought to have come far enough to play firsts... although who on earth we might realistically recruit who would be better than Schauble, escapes me.

If your right, and sadly you probably are, I hope he at least gets a swansong!

I'd rather keep a "specialist" than a never was like Heath James.

there is no need to hit the panic button. I think Schauble is not used probably due to some chronic injury (pure speculation but it could explain why he is not used). Maybe he could not stretch a particular part of his body for some reason .

I think Powell, James and Nicks are the sure bet to go. With pain, we might have to let Fixter go as well given his history of injuries.
