    Positives from today

    - A great win.
    - Superb four quarter effort winning all four
    - Percentage gets a huge boost.
    - Worst we could do is fifth. But for that to happen we have to lose the next two games
    - We are a chance of finishing third but that means the difference of playing in Perth or Adelaide.

Kennelly's goal. I hope he likes Toyotas, because he'll be driving one soon enough.
    We hate Anthony Rocca
    We hate Shannon Grant too
    We hate scumbag Gaspar
    But Leo WE LOVE YOU!

Ryan O'Keefe's game was good. He seemed to be presenting all day.

Leo could have held that mark and we would have the mark and goal of the year within 5 minutes.

        - our forward line "guns" kicking us a big score and accurate set shots
        - pressure around the entire ground
        - great skills today and we never really panicked when brissy flooded, just very patient footy
-schneiders new role across half back, i like it
        - ball and jolly's dominance in the ruck
        - and i suppose barry hall should get a mention

Well, someone beat me to it, but its all good.

LRT. Contested marks. In the same sentence. Who woulda thunk it!

Ruckwork was a beauty, particularly in the first half when the game was still alive.

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Eight? I got 4! Dog of a weekend (although at least they got over the line). Surely no-one expected Melbourne to beat the Cats, and I stuck my neck out and thought that Port had more to play for than the Clones and the 'home' crowd would get them over the line.

Anyways, it really was one of those 'all played well' days today. Even granting that Aker played an extremely good game for a guy with one leg, and Voss worked hard all day, I can't think of a Sydney player who was clearly beaten by his direct opponent.

I know that we shouldn't influence anyone's voting in the TLM, but despite ordinary kicking for goal my vote for BOG goes to the dude who kept running the defence ragged at half-forward, taking good grabs, ensuring that the Brisbane backline was always overstretched, delivering crisply and quickly to the full-forward line, and kicked 3 or so himself. The ladies like him, too, apparently.

Couple of great contested marks from Nog. He showed himself as a good mark in 2003-4, even while he was struggling to get much of the ball. We've not seen so much of it this season, given the position he's been playing, but all goes to show he could become a very very good 'complete player'.

Glad the wait is over for the first Kennelly goal of the season. May we have another half dozen or so over the next 6 weeks! There is always something a bit 'special' about them.

LRT - sensational to see how quickly he's developing.

Fantasticly courageous mark from B2 running back with the flight of the ball.

Seeing Scott lose it and whack Buchanan. The hit was pretty soft and I doubt it will get as far as the tribunal but was funny to see Scott lose it, nonetheless.

Buchanan was hit in the back, not quite sure why he grabbed his head. No injuries always has to be a positive.

                      Craig Bolton's mark.

I know he does it week after week but backing back like that, you like.... here comes the train wreck, here comes the train wreck, he does more than make the contest but takes the friggin mark. I'd like to see marks like that as mark of the year.

                            Schneider's development across half-back.
Williams breaking the shackles and having a bigger impact on the game.
                            Hall and MickyO up front.

LRT playing alot more confident and taking some grabs.
Schneider sweeping across half back is proving to be a masterstroke from Roos.
Bazza playing the most inspired footy i have seen him play today.
Kennelly's goal where he turned on a 10 cent piece and slammed the ball through for a 45 metre goal.
