    PS
It was very good seeing Ball & Jolly put their less experienced opponents to the sword for once!

Well that was all pretty good wasnt it?

All of the above for me too plus one other surprising positive.

After bagging Telstra last week, really enjoyed the experience this time around - much nicer being there in the day time. Great atmosphere before, during & after the game & nws Charlie's protestations that we're all sore winners, there was a complete absence of aggro & plenty of good-humoured banter where I was sitting. Makes a pleasant contrast to incidents at League games over the weekend.

Just a thoroughly enjoyable day - I'm even prepared to believe now that the last time I saw Swans play Brissie at TS never actually happened!

BBBH's goal in the 3rd quarter where Ball tapped to NOG who picked up at his ankles, delivered the ball perfectly between the Lions defenders to Baz who marked overhead and was able to play on and goal was the piece of play that left me drooling (even more so than Tiger's goal).

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

          That's not what Charlie said.

Wasn't that absolutely superb. This is the sort of high-skill football I lament us lacking on a regular basis, but it was fantastic to see.

The most positive note to me is: there are more posts in this thread than the negative one (49 vs 43), at least so far anyway. This is the first time I have seen this this season. Keep the good work going .

So many positives, most of which have been mentioned. One positive that has not been mentioned as yet though is LRT's haircut. A definate positive methinks

Kirk -- hugging his grandpa before the toss (yes, I'm sentimental! Tear!)

B2 - What more needs to be said? Always digs deep when playing Brissie and comes up with the goods. He's been the most consistent player week in, week out. IMHO, he deserves the B&F this year.

LRT's rapid improvement. I'm officially on the bandwagon. Make way, people!

BBBBBBBBH's bag of goals. He certainly impressed my un-AFL parents... Flashy Barry is now their favourite.

Bucky getting slapped right in front of us -- the invitation to join the Matthew Lloyd School of Acting is in the mail

Pebbles managing to smile despite a string of behinds in the final quarter.

                  Kennelly's goal. Brilliant!

                  Jude and his controlled aggression.

                  All of it, basically.

If there was nothing there all along.

I really liked these two things.

Kirk and his grandfather at the coin toss was really a nice moment. And it was great to see O'Keefe laughing and joking with Davis after the free was awarded just as Davis was about to kick a goal.

That did bring a smile to my face.
In the first quarter also (I think it was) Johnson was giving Davis a good ol' thumpin' an' a bumpin' off the ball and Davis just had a big smile on his face the whole time and kept chatting away to Johnson, who was getting more and more annoyed. One of the umps came over to get him Johnson to stop it and Johnson stood there slowly dropping the intensity of his bumps and probably asking the ump "is this okay? no? what about this? no? what about this?" and Davis was just standing there with a grin on his face looking like he was about to burst into a fit of giggles. It really did seem like a "I don't even know why you are doing this" situation.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
