The good thing is that the Swans have not peaked yet.

A good indication of this is that Nick Davis is only now finding the form as the multipul goal kicker we all know him to be.
The Swans have not put ? quarter efforst together and if they do they can beat anybody.
I just hope we are saving our best for the finals.

We are playing good enough to win it now. But finding an extra 10% would be nice.

I am worried about the Crows. Though I think if we find that extra five to ten percent, we can beat them at aimee.

The problem facing teams traveling to AAMI

        R16 Western Bulldogs 35
        R18 Sydney 47
        R19 Melbourne 46
        R21 Collingwood 41

These are the scores of the last 4 visiting teams to AAMI. (excluding PA who shares the ground).

        Tough defence to crack.

Just as well Nick Davis has found form again. The Crows will now have four top forwards to worry about. Maybe five if Schauble plays up forward

I'm sure that the focus of Roos planning for any final against the Crows will be how to crash through their defence. Do that and the game is ours!

Well anything can happen in this coming week. Adeliade COULD get pummeled over at Subi and without doubt Roosy will be paying very close attention to this game and especially the Adelaide defence as we will most likely have to come up agaisnt it again in week one of the finals.

I have faith that the coaching staff learnt alot from the R18 clash and will be able to overcome the Crows defence. With four firing forwards at the moment it is prob our best chance.

              Then again Adelaide could win.......

No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

We couldnt want a better round 22 contest than West Coast v Adelaide. It'll be a huge game for both of them and they both might come out of it so battered, that Sydney and the Saints might both triumph the following week. That would be PERFECT!

You can stretch that over the whole year:

                  64, 56, 64, 72, 57, 63, 88, 35, 47, 46, 41

                  Ave = 58

OMG, Footyhead is being positive. I never thought I'd see the day!

I agree with what you say 100% mate. We blew them away in the 1st quarter, held our own in the 2nd. But were decidedly pedestrian in the 2nd half to be honest. Not that, in hindsight, that it really mattered. Percentage means nothing at this late stage of proceedings.

The Crows do not scare me at all. They are a well coached unit that plays well given its defensive gameplan. But as show by our match there a couple of weeks ago, they are very beatable. We had the chances to put them away, we had more scoring shots than them overall, we kicked 1-8 in the last quarter.

Adelaide are very very beatable kiddies!

Adelaide is now at peak fitness due to their toughest period of training ending so will be cherry ripe for the finals. Their defence is a hurdle and hard to penetrate. Yesterday's game may breed complacency. Roos will be hoping that the Crows and Eagles smash the crap out of each other.

Crows are very reliant on a few key superstars. The rest play with confidence around them.

Last time around Kirk kept Roo to only 9 touches. If we can do the same with McLeod this time, as well as keeping Roo quiet, I feel confident we can get over them even at AAMI.

Four form forwards is too many for them to cover IMO.

You could say the same about the Swans. Trouble is that, although Goodwin, Riccuito, Hart and McLeod are having very good seasons, the likes of Burton, Mattner, Bock, Rutten et al have been remarkably consistent all year too.
