I'm starting to think that scoring third is more importnat that we expected. Whichever team wins will have confidence sky high while the team that loses will be either experiencing its first loss in a while or its first loss at its home ground for even longer.
However, the winner plays the Saints. So I think if everything goes well, we'll be playing the winner of the Eagles-Crows game in the Grand Final.

The way it's going it'll definitely go down to the wire - especially since the Weagles have started to remember how to kick straight in the 2nd half.
It's one of those situations:
Play in Subi and try to do something not a lot of teams have managed to do - beat the Weagles in Perth.
Or play in Adelaide with the possibility of no Riccuito in their lineup.
Bottom line is this: if we manage by a miracle to win wherever we play (more chance of beating Adelaide than Weagles though), we'd get a home PF.
ETA: Looks like we're off to Subi on Friday night.....

Well in a Comaneciesque backflip, I'm delighted we're playing WCE next week - & not just coz my long range forecast to be in Perth next week has paid off.
Adelaide are clearly the form team in the comp (besides us!) & WCE look a trouble under-confident side.
My only issue - hard to imagine Judd playing 2 quiet games in a row. Anyway, we're a real chance next week I reckon.
Now to get my hands on a ticket....if anyone has any thoughts I'd be much appreciative.

Hey Giant - looks like we'll get a chance for that beer in WA this week! I'm glad I bought my ticket for $300 return on Thursday. But I also think that the Eagles will be the easier team to beat - the wheels really are wobbling right now. They have won, what 2 of 6 games? Also, their game had some run but error ridden. Our game will throw them off stride (it did six weeks ago when we weren't playing as well as we are now) and I don't think it'd worry the Crows as much to play man-on-man as the Weagles.
Right now, I think the odds would be on a Crows-Swans GF.
