    Round 22 Negatives

Who cares! Maybe Leo Barry's worst game for a while. But gee, gotta clutch at some bery small straws to find too much wrong today.

I'm a Goodes fan but today it seemed to me he was using this game to try out some extra skills for the future.

For about the fisrt 5 mins the Hawks midfield was running untagged with ease. Showed alot of potential, but our backline covered well when the ball came into the 50. And the boys picked up players well after that.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

We gave allowed them to score a couple of easy goals in the second half. Leo Barry continues to be a serial offender for giving away silly free kicks in front of the oppositions' goals. The jump on Dickson was just plain stupid.

              Stupid free kicks, yes.

              Not much else.

Leo has to stop diving on the ball.

The Hawks got it out of the middle about half the time.

Leo should not try to hatch the ball, it doesn't work!

Played like millionaires - can't do that next week.

Still, despite what Neil Craig thinks, I'd prefer to have played a game like that than a 4 qr slog in warm conditions like they did.

No doubt in my mind Hawthorn tanked. So this was merely a practice run on the MCG, nothing more.

A general negative, is that our FF can only manage 1 goal in those circimstances.

But, I think Hall tanked it, and he handed off at least 6 goals, I think.

He kicked 2 goals and assisted directly in 6, which was close to a record.
