Barry Hall - ultimate team player

How serious are the Swans about the Premiership? Well, as a statement of intent, Baz deliberately throwing the Coleman was a fair start. If that didn't send a ripple through the other finalists, I can't imagine what would.

Yes he missed a couple. But it was his early short kick to Nicky D in the goal square that showed that he was not going to play for the Coleman. No personal glory in this team - just a united purpose.

    Truly inspirational stuff!

Stop it! You are giving my stomach butterflies
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

Good move to have purchased your airfare when it was cheap. Smart punting.

2 more goals and he could have had it, it would certainly have made the game more interesting.

I don't know for sure, but perhaps, just perhaps, he might have known that Fraser wouldn't play and didn't want to take advantage of it. I know it sounds very sentimental, but it is quite possible that Barry respects Fraser more than we think.

He seems to be a man of great pride and he may have thought that just beating Gehrig and playing two extra games wouldn't make it worth it.

I didn't say it was an original idea, it was somewhat plagerised.

Does anyone seriously think he'd bet against himself - and then tank to win the bet? Do you think he has money on the Eagles and Crows for the Premiership, too?

Sorry if I over reacted. When I first heard it I thought it was a joke. Then I kept hearing it on the radio, at the club, and here without any indication of irony. So I reacted. I have seen equally ludicrous suggestions posted here with complete seriousness.

Well this is going to be Baz's moment - as he's the captain for the finals then he's right on track in leading by example, not trying anything flashy and ensuring that its a true team effort.
He's showing great maturity and has confirmed that the move to Sydney is the best thing he could have done for himself personally, for his footy career and for long suffering fans like us.

GO BAZ YOU BLOODY GOOD THING!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I was trying to see if he had "Wardy" tatooed on his arm, but I couldn't get close enough.
