I didn't have us getting priority picks, but at the time, I didn't see us finishing in the top 6 - I thought probably miss the finals, although sneaking in to 7th/8th may have happened.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Dont beat yourself up too bad. Their poor start had even the most ardent optimists concerned they were going to waste the opportunity presented to them this year with all of their experience and talent.

Can't say I ever really lost faith. I was becoming apathetic but not faithless.

We were overusing it resulting in error after error and our forwards were down on confidence but we had the same list so the problems were only ever going to be temporary.

What I couldn't guess was the scintilating footy that we would go on to play.

We're a bit too close to it to notice, but for a casual observer, our form reversal has been incredible...it's not just an improvement, it's a dramatic 180.

Going from getting towelled up at home to slamming on 9 goal quarters is a big turn-around.

Myles will be calling soon to ask for your memerbship to be relinquished.

It is very rare a team goes through the whole season without a form slump (Carlton 1995 & SnDon 2000 are exceptions, although Carlton did lose 2 in a row in 1995).

We just happened to have ours early in the year. St Kilda had a slow start like us, Melbourne & Geelong had shocking mid years and West Coast are looking a little wobbly now.

22 Rounds is a half marathon not a 100 meter sprint.

Must admit I never thought we'd be a top four team AND a premiership contender, thought we might make the bottom half of the 8, at best.

I did. We had essentially the same team, we just needed to gell.

Yes I was one of them and yes i admit i was wrong about both LRT and the team.
Yes i feel like a true dickhead.

All i ever want is for the swans to win one flag. honestly truely.

They've already won three, don't be greedy.

Here's another one, who thought the Swans would only make up the numbers in top 8.
