yeah thats true and i hope he doesnt play as he can be dangerous. but i think they'll play him as he is an X factor and i'm pretty sure at the start of the year he did alright against us but kicked about 4 behinds?

Go Ashley. Back then, I wanted to kick a few Swans' behinds, too.Originally posted by punter257

The Weagles forward line may not be as talented as ours but they are all fairly tall units.
Last time we played them at the SCG they were without: Hansen, Embley and Gardiner. All tallish players who play forward or drift forward.
Ball or Jolly may be asked to do a job on a gardiner or Cox/Seaby if they decide to drift forward. Vogels is another option however i would like Roos to dictate the play and try and stretch their defence.
Midfield pressure is the ultimate key in this game.Official Driver Of The "Who Gives A @@@@ As The Player Will Get Delisted Anyway" Bandwagon.

Look, I'm a fan of the dumpster, but I wouldn't put 'quick' as one of his adjectives. Not leg speed, anyway.Originally posted by Jeffers1984
Embley is a danger for us. Who do you think will take him? I'm guessing Dempster would be the best match up as both are quick and tallish.Insert Your Life [HERE]Comment

Although Dempster perhaps lacks a little off the mark, he isn't by any means slow and he's got a big tank but I'm not sure about him on Embley who came back from injury in good form. If he can do it, it would be his biggest scalp this year easily.Originally posted by mocaholic

He played on Wells last weekend (against the Roos) and even left him for dead at one stage.Originally posted by mocaholic

I reckon he's easily got the leg speed to go with Embley.Comment

Spot on. Embley is underdone and won't even know what his top-gear is at the moment. Demps can run with him.Originally posted by liz

I like it ... Davis runs free!Originally posted by Captain
My early match up predictions would be:
Swans Forwards
Hall - Glass
Mick - Chick
O'Keefe - Wirrpunda
Goodes - Hunter
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

I hate to say it but Davis will be lucky to touch the pill on Friday he will definatley get Drew Banfield this guy is a older version of Crouch, Banfields aggresive tight checking stlye won't suit Davis.Originally posted by dimelb

Re: Re: Re: Match Ups
Does Banfield mind playing in the centre? Nicky D is spending as much time in the midfield as he is in the forward 50 at present - I imagine that'll be especially true at Subi.Originally posted by Dpw
