Maybe you can become a champion of the Tim Schmidt cause. That would be new.

      Tim Schmidt:
      He he he.
      He he he
      He he he
      HA HA HA!

Somehow I think that would be wasted on a man like Barry. He'd be scared.

You weren't totally right. You actually thought LRT had fantastic games earlier in the season when he looked completely clueless. You don't recognise the enormous improvement in his game - you act like he's always been good and it's only now everyone has recognised it.

G'day Baz. Now supply the missing letters, in order: Sch ble!

As far as football goes, the Tim Schmidt bandwagon is one I am prepared to get an early seat on. As for the hehehe aspect, I think it is best if that is left in the darkness where it belongs.

Wrong, wrong and wrong. Rewriting history, especially on a forum where history is kept, does you no service.

Ok, I've dined out on the LRT story enough for the time being.

Time to focus on the job ahead. Beating those poncy weagles. Where's the RWO meet up for the game? Can I come ?

Um... if you look through the history it's mainly you talking LRT up. Sometimes you say that he will get better in time (eg: maturing in a few years) but you don't recognise that he has improved a lot in recent games.

In your comments pre-June, when most people saw that he was not playing particularly well and many said that he had a lot of improvement to do, you mainly mentioned how great he was and refused to accept any criticism at all.

I think his improvement in the past month or so has been huge, and is exactly the sort of improvement we were saying was lacking earlier in the year when he seemed to be going nowhere despite having some favourable attributes. Of course there is still a long way to go, but at least now he's headed in the right direction.

Umm, no. His marking has improved in the later half of the year. Along with his kicking, although I think that comes with confidence of other teams mates involving him in link play now.

Ummm, no. The general theme of my comments is that his spoiling and ground work were good enough to hold his place, and the more attacking parts of his game would come with game time.

I think his improvement in the past month or so has been huge, and is exactly the sort of improvement we were saying was lacking earlier in the year when he seemed to be going nowhere despite having some favourable attributes. I wouldnt say huge. The difference is instead of 2 clangers a match, he takes two pack marks a match. Clangers and marks are what the punters judge skill by. The only huge difference is how he is used by teammates. From zero to occationally.
