They are worried about where they might have to play in week 2 so sought reassurance from the AFL....

The AFL confirmed yesterday that if both Adelaide and West Coast lost this weekend, there would be no finals in Victoria next weekend.

It's funny, but I think it's either fear or underestimation. Every single article/interview I've read on this game, from both the weagles coaches, and the players, has mentioned the "subi factor" as though it's going to murder the swans chances of winning. Quite laughable really that they have to resort to this. It's like a security blanket for them. And I tell u what, if the swans put on a good show in the first half and hold them off in the second, the wiggles will be shot in confidence and we should win. But it's only going to come through a big swans team effort.

I think that it is quite possible that in the backs of their minds, they honestly do fear us. Or if not us, definitely fear their own failure.
