Jude to lift.
Goodes to dominate.
Iam wondering if Jude is still carrying a injury after is forced layoff, before that point he was in blisstering form is still hard at every contest and that alone is valuable but just hasn't recaptured that form.

Fair point. He was either taking it easy last week or he had the flu as I saw it. If he was carrying an injury you would think he would have been rested.
Goodes as always - If he fires the Swans seem to do well!
One that hasn't been mentioned and for whom I have alot of respect is ABLETT. I think a hard bodied midfielder is exactly the type that usually does well in September. We need our midfielders to fire as I believe a dominant midfield in September on the big grounds is paramount.

Brereton, Hopkins, Shaw, Cresswell (just my opinion), Daicos, Ablett and co all conjuring spirit, the likes rarely seen in the H&A season.
Paul Roos and Leigh Matthews will say that finals are just another game and it's ridiculous to think that people lift, grow an extra leg or whatever, but it is undeniable, if you don't lift for finals (the reason you play at all), then you're not human.
Who will UNEXPECTEDLY lift for Sydney, more importantly, who does Sydney need something special from? Who have you got your eye on that can lay that brilliant tackle in the forward line to create that winning goal, who will take that heart stopping defensive mark in the backline?
My 3 BIG GAME players will be:
* GOODES: Has been close to hopeless for 3 weeks. Lifted bigtime at AAMI in 2003. Will be disappointed by the past few weeks and the means a heck of a lot to him.
* BALL: When JB fires, we generally win. Marks well, rucks well, smarter than most in general play. Knows Subi like no other and this is his last chance at some more premiership glory.
* KENNELLY: Not known for his bravery but could emerge as a Daicos type. Subi has to suit his running game and we need it. 4 of those runs in a quarter for 4 quarters would be enough to earn us a week off.
Who do YOU think will make their reputation on Friday night??
O'Loughlin for sure
An instrument with only 9 notes! Surely it's easy to play?

That left foot of his...
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.
Obviously, we need everyone to play their part. But what we really need to see is the fast delivery to the forwards. They have aced that in a few of their last half a dozen matches, and we've pumped the opposition.
Interesting to hear Worsfold talking up his team after Saturday night and again tonight on WTF. The Wiggles are tussling with the little voices in their heads, especially if their coach has to make statements like that. I thought it was quite cocky, really. Though, hereth begins the mindgames. We've all figured out they've got a gun midfield but no forward line.
I get the vibe they don't believe they can lose at home in consecutive weeks. Oh, carn the Bloods! Smack those Wiggles good and hard!
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.
Cox will be a major key to the Eagles once again...If he can win the hitouts then it should see us once again win the ball out of the centre...
The one area that needs to lift for us is our forward line..We need to statrt taking our marks and actually start kicking straight...If this does not happen againt you guys then i can see us losing.

isnt cox carrying some sort of injury at the moment? just hasnt looked the same in the past month and maybe this has coincided with the drop off in form for the team (bar the freo game) and maybe he's tired from the long season and this hasnt helped by not really having another ruckman. sure seaby is there but he hasnt been that great lately.
in your forward line i'm definitely worried about the likes of cox, seaby, lynch, gardiner, hansen, staker and embley who can take a grab and would definitely stretch our defence (cough schauble cough). maybe a little rain isnt so bad after all. and then there is sampi (if he plays) who could turn around his form and be an X factor. i'm confident that crouchy will own the smurf
however i'm more than confident that our forwards will be a handful your backline. we really need someone to be accountable for wirrpunda and stop him from being the vacuum across half back
