Very similar to '96. I thought we were a huge chance then, and I think that again this year. Going into the 2003 finals I thought we were an outside chance at best. We're up and about this year.

    Go those Bloods.

      Look at it this way,

At least if the Swans don't win a few people here will get a consolation prize.

I'm not even thinking about football - just going to let it happen and watch tonight. Save my excitment for the game.

I have too many other things going on anyway to waste energy on the game before it starts.

Yes 96 but before the Rd 22 game against West Coast for minor premiership.

I believe that whoever loses tonight and tomorrow night will play in the preliminary finals. Can't see the bottom 4 doing too much.

The advantage of winning tonight is one less game for injury and home final however should we win tonight, we will be facing either Saints or Crows in preliminary final.

Lots to worry about yet. Let's hope if we do lose tonight, we don't lose any players with injury.

Assuming the bottom four are just making up the numbers, playing the loser of the Saints / Crows game at home beats the crap out of playing the winner of the Saints / Crows game at their home ground!

To put it simply, I'm a nervous wrack, trying to busy myself working and not thinking what is coming up tonight. I'll have a couple of drinks first to gear up enough courage to watch the game. I'm such a wimp when it comes to watching the Swans crunch games.

If it takes you over half an hour to write each post, you can't project that requirement onto everyone else!
