Just watch the replay, we still lost by 4. Was hoping the result would be different today.

Baz was ordinary. He cannot play like that again this year, surely. So at least it's out of the way.
There were moments when LRT looked to be THINKING again, he needs to dispose quickly otherwise it can be very ugly. That pass was bad, but that was not why we lost. Did affect momentum though.
Short handpasses out of defence worked well, however we did not seem to be firing back out from the backline like we have in recent weeks. And Kennelly's miss, imagine if that had gone through.
Misses in front of goals, especially in the last Q. You just cannot let those opportunities slip. As evidenced when we LOST BY LESS THAN ONE BLOODY GOAL.
Willow, he was good last night IMO but is not back to his best. We need him firing again. Plus he's my favourite player, so I'm a bit biased.
Umpiring wqas appaling in parts and had a big influence on the game. However, it comes back to kicking goals when they present themselves and we did not take our chances.

I like the idea of a seperate board... then they can both be made moderators of that board and change each other's posts.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Went to watch my son in a local footy GF and people I spoke to, non Swans supporters, said we got slaughtered by the umps.

Interestingly they said Barry had his arms knocked away repeatedly by Glass but no frees.

MMM, do that to any other FF and an instant free results.

            Now that's just childish.

            Read it in context..

"I haven't singled him out - I mentioned a number of other players".

This makes more sense than 'have' as you suggested.

Perhaps barry should stop going berserk and posting irrationally every time I simply want to pass a comment on LRT, as I do on any player.

It's not like I said LRT played crap or is a hack or cost us the game. However, it was a critical error that changed momentum in the game.

Yet, barry still has to jump in, have a cry about his love child and twist the facts.

Your persistence is no less than Barr's, NMWBloods. I think we need a thread so that both of you can sort it out somehow.

I agree it was a huge turning point.
Yep, that was pretty much my reaction. And I am fond of him!

There is absolutely no doubt that this was THE turning point. The flow of the game changed after this. Overall, LRT played reasonably well.

LRT works his arse off for 99% of the game, containing the only forward they had, and playing better than at least half our team, and in your (and dimwit diego's eyes) he's to blame.
Christ, Barry. Are you related to the bloke?

You were driving the bandwagon, but after taking a sharp corner some have fallen off. And that's fine -- it happens. It's the Australian way.

To put it simply, I don't think he played well on Friday, along with plenty of others, our captain included. We all have our favourite players, though most of us are not so one-eyed to think they can do no wrong.

When West Coast marked the ball in their goal square, LRT was pushed out of the way. He's not strong enough. LRT's free against him is nothing compared to Goodes' and Leo Barry's kerfuffle.

Thats kind of what I'm saying. He did some good things, He did some bad things. He did one absolute shocker, but he was still better than his captain out there, and half the team IMO.

Like me you look at the whole picture not one isolated incident.

But my negative is: Inability to keep footing. Jude Bolton being about the worst.
100% correct. The Swans were always going to be at a disadvantage playing at night on a dewy slipery surface. Unfortunately they do not have the skills of the Eagles and when its wet the good players stay good players (a la Judd) and the lesser players drop off.
Thus despite the conditions the Swans fought brilliantly and should have won but were quite simply robbed.
