    Ticketing for the game.

Now we know that the game is at the SCG on Friday night, what are the arrangements for tickets. I assume that members will get first dibs (possibly one day for tomorrow?), and can members buy extra tickets for the game?

    Does anybody have any info?

I assume that members get to purchase tickets from 9am Monday, then everyone else from Tuesday. Swans site says members can buy more than 1 ticket - I think it's up to 4 extra tickets from the Swans magazine.

With the game being at the SCG, I very much doubt members will be able to buy more than 1 ticket per membership held. If they are, there will be plenty of members who miss out on tickets to non-members who've got tickets through their member friends which would be a total and utter farce.

The whole premise of members being able to purchase extra tickets was the game being played at an 80,000 seat stadium. Remember what happened 2 years ago for the Prelim and the outcry on here about members not being able to get decent tickets???

Yeah, fairly understandable. I hope the club makes a statement soon.

My guess is one. Like Mike said it would be ridiculous if some members missed out because others bought 4. With approx 20 000 Sydney based members, that's half the SCG gone, there's also Geelong members, SCG members, and the general public.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Melbourne based Swans members. I'd assume they get equal dibs, and that means another 5000 tickets gone.

Obviously not all members will come, but I'd be very surprised if you could buy many more than one ticket with each membership.

Well they'd better announce it (how many extra tickets we can get) pretty soon - obviously members have to get priority! Certain to be a sellout now - I'm going to have to get mine first thing tomorrow morning. Telstra Stadium will NOT be happy given the agreement to play all Swans home finals there - must be regretting doing a similar deal with the Wests Tigers, given the likely crowds for each match. The AFL seems to sign a lot of contracts it can't/doesn't want to keep -they'd better have some pretty good lawyers because one day it's going to backfire on them.

The AFL should have advised competing club members over the weekend what the deal would be for tickets.

                This is a joke.

I presume SCG members will be closed off to Swans members??

... To see if the game tickets is Members + 1 or just Members. Far out, I hope it's + 1. Ploise.

See this is what I'm worried about because I sit in the Members Reserve below the Ladies Stand and you can make a bet that would be taken by the SCG members. Well knowing my luck it will be.

We are not able to sit in our normal seats unfortunately at the SCG/Telstra.
                      Which is a nuisance.
Hope we all get tickets. SCG members shouldn's be allowed - as they are not true followers and probably won't even wear red and white.

Ah yes, the stereotype. How clever. Just like us Swans supporters dont know the rules of AFL.

It should only be one per membership anyway.Members should always get priority,if the other people want to go then its simple, they should have bought a membership.
