Firstly, best of luck to Bevo. He's been on the outer for quite a while, now, and I'm sure he'll repay Roosy for his faith in his ability.

    But secondly, WTF$@^#$*$($)#)#W&@#%!$!!!
    Dropping Voges?!?!
That is all I am allowing myself to say on the matter
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

      And a very ordinary hack.

Someone mentioned pace. Strewth my 85 year old mother is quicker than him.

He is the worst skilled player on the list and the dumbest. Strange selection for mine.

Since he has been out we have been a better side.

He gives the opposition a window of opportunity.

Makes Benny Mathews look like Bob Skilton.

But how many touches did she get in the reserves last week?

Excellent - Skilton could be the edge we need...

Bevan is in because he's hard at it and doesn't take a backward step.

We're down to the knock-out stage now . . . Geelong won't be coming to Sydney to play pretty football. They'll be coming to win at any cost. They've got nothing to lose.

Bomber Thompson knows what it takes to win these sort of games, and he'll expect his boys to get stuck in and try and un-nerve a few of the younger Swans.

If there isn't at least one melee, then I'll be really surprised.

And I'm looking forward to seeing how Bazza responds . . . .

Yeah, happy enough for Bev and bad luck for Voges

The Brisbane Courier Mail announced team is a worry though

Mathew Nicks on the wing instead of Nick DAVIS?????

If Voges is stiff, then rigor mortis must have set in for Schaubes.

Hmm... dum spiro, spero... but I'm afraid I don't like the odds of ever seeing Schaubes on the field in a Swans jumper again.

It will give him more time to spend in soup kitchens.

From the Hall "Barry Crocker" story -

"Bevan proved his resilience last weekend. He was an emergency for the final against the Eagles in Perth, then caught the red-eye overnight flight back to Canberra to line up for Sydney's reserves last Saturday.

With little sleep, he played as a tagger and helped the reserves advance to next week's Canberra league grand final."

Tough, cheeky bloke that Bevan. I agree that our forward line is crowded with talent so Roos has gone with someone who can take the bumps, tag and be a pest.

We needed a 'tagger' in the reserves...?!?
