For once, we were hitting forward targets, and wasn't it good to see???

Even when Tarrant was running rampant, I thought we handled it pretty well - In the past we might have freaked out and just panicked, leaving the door ajar for Collingwood. Some of my thoughts:

Adam Schneider definitely has class. I love his confidence and aggression.

Nick Davis was quiet, but to be fair, delivery to him was IMHO sub-standard, and held his nerve to slot through the final goal.

I thought Barry Hall played a very smart game. Wandering to CHF to get the ball when he needed to.

Mark Powell wasn't on for much, but took a great mark, I like the look of him.

Fantastic games from Leo Barry and Ben Mathews IMO, very solid despite the odd scary moment!!

Adam Goodes. Does anyone remember me saying pre-season that if he ever gets consistency into his game, he will be a superstar? Be very afraid.

The break in play when the Collingwood player was taken off hurt us (very similar to the way we really put in after CBolt was stretchered off last week).

Poor Saddo - Had 3 great quarters.

Ball - so very, VERY important. Great skills for a big man.

Great effort tonight. We'll be severely tested next week. I reckon we're right on a knife's edge at the moment - One key injury and we'll struggle to cover the depth. Here's hoping.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Well done boys. Awsome performance! If we play like we have done the last couple of weeks we must be a slight chance of knocking over Brisbane next week. Can't wait to see the game next week! GO SWANNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sadders definitely plays very well well playing off his man which showed tonight... in that last qarter, he drew closer to tarrant and thats y tarrant was able to take many grabs and have shots at goal. robert walls made a comment that sadders should now play beside tarrant and thats when sadders stamp pn tarrant deteriated... sadders cant outbody he has to have the run and outmark or spoil...

GREAT GAME! i must say i had faith before the game that we could win but in that last quarter i thought that it was the pies who would runaway with the 4 points...

        i love schneider

good to see tadhg keep his head up after making a few fundamental mistakes...

No one has mentioned Paul Williams - set us up in the first half (got lots of boos).

Excellent win and great to see them hold on despite the enormous pressure from Collingwood in the last qtr.

Field kicking and tackling were a particular highlight.

Some really good signs in there for a promising a couple of years I think.
