And Ben Mathews had a pretty good game last night - one of the Swans who was actually playing.

I often notice ROK and Craig Bolton teaming up- Craig gets it in the defensive fifty, runs a little way, kicks it to ROK, who then sends it into our forward 50. It's one of our few clean, quick attacks. We rarely get the ball into our F50 that efficently. Why break that up? I think it's more important than we realise.Comment

You're saying ROK and C Bolton are our Phil and Jimmy Krakouer?
They have some magical synergy on the field?
That's got to be the silliest reason against a trade in the history of thought.
Brilliant! I'm won ever.Comment

ROK is a very good forward who kicks goals (OK, he could be straighter this season) and always takes a good defender. In addition he has become an excellent link man, one of our better delivery boys into the F50. It would have to be a PK or the like on offer before I would dream of trading him.
And trade Goodes? You're dreamin'.He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Jees some of the pathetic crap that gets written on here!
For a start, have a look at ROK's stats for the second half of the season, when we were winning all of those games. He was rated at the very top for long kicks, and F50 entries.
And last night, the one goal that sparked the run on came from.... a long bomb from ROK straight to Nick Davis' advantage against two Geelong defenders. In fact there were two Swans players versus 5 Geelong players in the area.
Mind you, the same people were advising the Swans to trade Nick Davis last year, because apparently he is a head case
Is it too much to ask people to stop talking trade drivel until AFTER we have completed this season?? FFS there is still one game to go at the very least, and whose to say ROK, or Hall or Goodes wont be the 2005 Norm Smith Medlaist??Our Greatest Moment:
