I guarantee there will not be time to catch a train to Richmond. Spencer Street is being redeveloped, and very few suburban trains (and no City Loop trains) are going through there. You'd be extremely lucky to get one straight to Richmond at all... let alone getting one quickly.Originally posted by Mike_B

No, No, No.....take a cab to North Melbourne Station and then a train to Richmond.
The best by far.
Big problem would be how long you queue for a cab.
Pay a friend $60 to pick you up - or buy them a ticket....in fact if I'm not working and you pay for my ticket I'll pick you up and get you to the game on time
