I didnt recall any statement similiar to this after our loss against the Eagle .

I loved listening to that - the roar was so crazy loud! And it's true that we stole it.... I'm just glad that we did.

Right, I assumed the main caller was Rex. Who was that then?

A point scored anytime during the game counts the same. We did not steal the game we won it. 56 beats 53, and as I said points in the last seconds count the same as points in the first seconds. We finished over the cats and deserved to win.

Main caller was Clinton Grybas. Rex Hunt was saying 'oh no'.

It's not unusual that when a team wins in the (literally) final seconds, it's referred to as 'stolen' or 'pinched' or something similar - has been for years and in various sports too.

Did Geelong lead for the game except the final few seconds or am I mistaken?

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. I think the main caller was Rex Hunt. The 'oh nos' don't sound much like Grybas but I don't think it is Lyon either, so it must be Clinton.

No, just listened to it again, NMWBloods was right - Rex Hunt was the 'Oh No'

OK - I think I'm convinced. Clinton and Rex are interchanging the main commentary over the period but the 'grand larcency' comment makes me agree that it was Grybas at that point (and thus Rex with the background noises) because it is a repeat of a phrase he uses early in the piece.

That is one of the best and most funniest calls I have ever heard of a sporting match! What made it even better is that we were on the winning end of it all. Doubt we will ever experience something like that match again...time to go and watch the last 5 minutes again..."Davis...Nick Davis...Class with a Capital C"!
                              Swannies for life!

I think part of it was that towards the end Clinton was losing his voice and sounding more like Rex.
