    Weather forecast for Friday

So far the forecast for Friday night doesn't look good at all. The latest prediction is that it is going to rain. No luck here for Swanees.

Great. Perhaps I'll wear a hard hat to the game.

I dont think that wet weather suits St Kilda any more than it does us, given that they play most of their football at Telstra Dome. However, I do recall that it didnt seem to bother them last September.

Sigh. Looks like I'm not getting any washing done any time soon, and the Swans are going to be playing after a week of wet weather:

        Tonight and Tuesday
A few showers, mostly clearing early afternoon. A partly cloudy day with light
to moderate southwesterly winds tending northwesterly later.

        Min 8 Max 16

        Wednesday
        A little rain clearing later.
        Min 7 Max 16

        Thursday
        A few showers.
        Min 10 Max 15

        Friday
        Showers. Possible hail.
        Min 8 Max 15

Trend for Saturday, Sunday and Monday
        Showers. Cool.

At least they won't water the ground. We hope.

            MCG should get a roof.

Or we should play at the Dome.

Or the weather should just tell us the truth and say it will be a warm night.

A bit worrying that it seems to be the same weather as we had in last years final against the Saints. Th Swans e played like they thought they were in dry conditions. Hopefully they have learnt something since then.

Yep we might be putting up a smokescreen today but watering the ground last Friday was actually what the Swans wanted to do to prepare them for swimming pool conditions at the MCG this Friday

Melbourne's weather is really reliable. You can always rely on Melbourne to produce the coldest, most miserable, crappy conditions possible. Thats we love good old melbourne.

If we play the conditions properly it may end up helping us.

                  1. It will be hard for the saints to break away.
                  2. Saints are a big marking side, much better than sydney, so the conditions will slightly lessen that advantage.

heard that in the lead up to last years semi final.

hmmm, hopefully we may have learnt something.

Ground shouldn't be too wet though because of the sandy base. It holds the water well. Last time they predicted a wet Saturday 6 days ahead it changed. Spring is our most unsettled period weather wise though.
