How long have you supported the Swans, it's been 20 long years for me, I want a flag badly. I know how I felt when my ex husbands footy team won a flag in the Essendon Dist FL about 14 years ago it was fantastic, and I want to experience something more than that in my lifetime.

All the speculation in the world isn't equal to a rushed behind.

Wait till Friday night and then it will all unfold.

So there is no point in worrying till Friday night

26 years and I have never been in a team or supported a footy team that has won a flag, but that doesn't stop me being a mad swans supporter
        Where's the remote?

i cant stand cocky supporters and i'll never stoop to that level. i always say that i'm confident in a sydney win no matter what the situation and never talk it up etc...... I'm a firm believer in being modest

If you know anything about this team in recent years its that it plays its best football when all looks lost. Like we dont have a chance.

People are forgetting the Bloods oath that the players took earlier in the year.

If you listened to Tadgh being interviewed after the match he brought it up - that the club has its own brand of 'Shinboner Spirit'.

Apart from the lack of an out and out superstar like Carey, this team has a similar feel to it that of the Kangaroos of 1996. After a few near misses they finally went the next step.

If we can win the Qualifying Final in Adelaide two years ago when we had massive injuries and then lost players throughout the course of the game then we can win any game we contest.

We have been disadvantaged in first having to go to Perth and then play on a slippery SCG. Give us good conditions on Friday night and we should be doing good.

Saying that we need Barry Hall to get into the game and find the football.

Dont forget, alot of the Saints are playing hurt especially Big Frase.

Brett Kirk epitomises the spirit of the club and he aint going to let us down.

Then after we win, dont be surprised how quiet the Saints fans get.

lol i know all that im just nervous :P
dont want to be part of a bunch of arrogant supporters, just seems myself and swans fans i know always prepare for the worst

Is that what Tadgh said? I could only understand about one in three words

I don't like cocky people. I'm quietly confident in the Swans, but there's a difference in being confident or having faith in a side and being cocky.

I have waited my whole life - 34 years, my father waited his entire life and unfortunatley never got to see his beloved team win a GF.
Bloods supporters are modest people, not prone to cockiness because we have seen so much disappointment. Anytime we think we have it in the bag we struggle. IMHO it is best to go with the belief that we have a huge fight on our hands which makes a win much sweeter.

It's been like how many years we've been kicked out of the Prelim? Time to go that extra step ahead.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

It is vary interesting to read some other forums and see the cocky supporters of other clubs.. However it should be pointed out that often other supporters of that club tell them to pull their heads in. Boasting before the match proves nothing and changes nothing but can make you look very foolish if you lose. We are too smart to fall for this trap. Quiet confidence is the way to go.

Only once this '96. But certainly time to go all the way.

                          Times we'd been kicked out:

                          2004 - vs Saints, Semi,
                          2003 - vs Lions, Prelim,
2002 - insufficent wins to secure a spot in the Top 8.

Like I sometimes say, this year will be our year because it's year...
