      Sack Goldspink and McClaren

After the absolutely disgraceful ,one sided, biased umpiring by those two boofhead umpires Goldspink and his partner in crime McClaren(Mark Knoffler) in last nights game against St Kilda they should both be asked to take an early holiday and not umpire the Grand Final.19 frees to 11 is not acceptable in a Preliminary Final.

Don't get me started on them!
They were a disgrace to the footy game. I hope none of them will officiate the GF!

I hope Brett Allan umps - he is one of the better ones IMHO.

Can anyone tell me why McLaren threw the footy up froma stoppage when there were 2 players still under his feet on the ground. They didn't look to be wrestling and he threw it up directly over them.

I was 4 rows back on the wing and you see close up who made the decisions. You seem to see the umps in the action more so from elevation.

McLaren paid those he saw for the Saints bit blatantly ignored obvious ones to us.

Very early in the game the pattern was set when, right in front of us Milne just about stretched Crouch's jumper off his back, no free. Goes to Gehrig/Barry contest, Leo grabs his jumper, free.

Taigh kicks downfield, downed after he kicks, MClaren is 5 metres away, no free up the ground. And so it went.

There should be an official inquiry into the umpiring last night. It was as bad as the West Coast game. For the GF we can only hope we get the umps who officiated the game against Geelong.

Andrew Dunkly was on 3AW yesterday

He seemed to be saying the Barry Hall thing was a nothing incident.

He then spouted off about the crap umpiring - how can two umpires pay frees 13 - 2

Mclaren clearly hates us - thankfully there is no was Mclaren and Goldspink will be in the GF

                    Vozzo was passable

Eek, no! I forgot he was one of them! He was OK that night, which is probably why. I retract that last post.

wasnt Goldfink the guy who tried to talk the goal umpires into giving the Saints 6 points when they had already confirned their point call twice
Mr Roos knew what he was doing'

Nope Goldy had no idea (shock horror ), and was saying to the boundary ump if you don't know, don't tell me and basically left it to the goal ump to decide

Had a perfect view from where we were sitting and it was a goal. Rare mistake in our favour.

May have been a goal, but I think the goal umpire may have felt guilty for blocking Ball's path to the ball.
