Reception for the boys, our role in the game

When the swans run on the ground friday, that is the time to show your support. Especially that first ten minutes. If you get the support heard in their heads, then the motivation is there.

Sing the song, clap your hands make sure they know you are there. Most of the saints fans are women so we should be able to drown em out.

The louder we can cheer the more likely we'll be cheer cheering post match.

The supporters are more important than the players really.

        We're the best Umpires too.

Yep, sometimes I think football would work better if we didn't have pesky players and umpires who mess things up.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

OK, ROK and NMW are right, we should all sit quietly at the game. No noise please people as, according to ROK and NMW, it does nothing to help the team. ******** me, you two can be the biggest wet blankets on this site.

                start hating saints fans now

or we could support this way

                Put offs

Hold up faces of swans players behind the goals. REckon fraser could kick into 3000 barry hall faces?

Find a player that doesn't say the crowd lifts him. And they are expecting 80,000 on Friday. When Nick kicked the winning goal, my first reaction was let's get the crowd going with a chant to keep the Swans up and to try quelling the Cats kicking an answering goal.

We aren't the team but don't try to tell us that we don't make a difference. If you weren't thrilled to the core by the whole SCG resonating to the crowd's reaction, you missed the highlight of the Swans' season.

ok i gotta blurt this out

                    whats with swans fans

sure we attempted to give them a bit of a lift, but as soon as the ball is bounced or something everyone stops lifeless.

Ive been thinking we are some ********ty ass fans.

until the last quarter when the crowd really fired up.

There's no qn the home crowd was a significant factor in the WCE match - we gave them a sniff & the crowd brought them home.

At least it can be a bit more balanced at the G.

I tried to get the crowd going in the last 10 minutes of the game, I have the proof of bruises from falling off the seat I was trying to stand on.

The crowd can make a difference, and as we all know what certain people on RWO think of the CS they are just baiting.

To anyone there on Fri night, don't be afraid of getting the crowd involved, IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

From Brett Kirk's Optus footy note:

"A win on Friday night is what we're after and we welcome your assistance. If you can make it to the game excellento, if you can't that's fine too just send through all positive vibes via the Swans rooms at the Melbourne Cricket Ground ..... onward to victory!

'The skilled can win ... The determined will ...'

                              Many Cheers
                              Kirky #31 "

As I have said on a previous response ... when the crowd did the Sydn - en - ey chant on friday night the team seemed to lift. When the crowd stopped, so did the momentum. The role of the crowd should not be understated.
