Oh what a win it will be when the swans beat the saints. The faces of all those smug saints supporters and the tears will be all too good to watch.

i used to like St Kilda and had a soft spot for them. But in the past year or two their fans have become akin to essendon and collingwood supporters rolled in as one.

And this notion of resting two players so they can play in the gf will work against them.

Just shows how much respect they have for us. None.

        Ate! Nemesis is next.

(For those unfamiliar with Greek myth, Koros = stability, then comes hubris = arrogance, then follows ate = madness and finally nemesis = destruction.)

Let's hope the Swans can bring Nemesis this weekend.

I don't blame the Saints fans for camping out for days for the chance of queue tickets. There's just not enough grand final tix to go round, and the fans who aren't camping out will miss out - Swans fans are no doubt also making plans for how to get into the queue ticket queue and I've got no doubt that by Friday afternoon there'll be hundreds of people already lined up outside the SCG.

I remember being at the Essendon v Carlton prelim final in 2000 when the Bombers comfortably made it through to the grand final. It was unusual, because the fans leaving early were the fans of the winning team - and even then most of them missed out.

I like my team discounted by others. I like my team being the underdog. I love it when we quietly go about our business, and the opposition is all talk, with a dash of sheer arrogance. It was the same when we went to Wet Toast in week one.
              Carn the Bloods!

Nonetheless, I love the absolute insanity of some of their supporters! Has anyone heard Ivy when she manages to get on WLF? What a trooper. She's forever having a dig at Andy D or Adrian Anderson and I think she's a riot. A few weeks ago she had a rant about how Andy D is sitting up in his white castle on a hill, with little penguins running around... and she was on again last night. Definitely good value, that one!

I don't why it has been reported that St Kilda supporters are queuing for GF tickets because there is no over the counter ticket sales for St Kilda Members if they make the GF.

A work colleague is a Saints member and this morning he had to ring a number and register to be eligible for GF Tickets. If the Saints make the GF then those that have registered will be allocated GF Tickets...(until the tickets run out of course).

If they don't make the GF then they still have to pay a $10 Admin fee!!

Urgh, that's not friendly at all!!!

Though I remeber Port doing something similar a couple of years back?

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Down with the Saints! Throw them to the Bloods!
And by the way, what a strange pic with the article - who on earth is that poledancing?

What a surprise. Fancy a Victorian club treating Sydney with scant respect. This is good news for us as when our team comes out firing they will be shellshocked and shut up. Who cares what these people think, Go the bloods.
