    Kev Carmody has a good song called "Freedom" and one of the lines is;

    Justice will come. Welcome Justice.

    Oh how I wish the Swans will belt the eagles to bring some justice for the previous final.

      This needs a clock to go with it. The clock has both hands pointing to 12, and the numerals are little premiership cups. Say hello to the premiership clock!

          Mate, don't worry. I broke down completely in the last quarter. Was even crying whilst trying to get a chant going. Went down to the boundary fence to just put my head in my hands and come to terms with things after the game, but couldn't. Broke down completely again. Security were watching me but didn't know how to act, not knowing whether to look or say anything. I looked back at them as if to motion that I had no idea how to act either. All I could do is keep shaking my head and muttering that this was not happening.

          I likened supporting the Swans to being little more than a like-long relationship with dispair and ultimate futility. But the dream is there, it is in our reach. The reality of this has been so overwhelming that to be honest I'm not coping with the enormity of it very well right now. 27 losses in a row, being sold to the AFL for $10, only staying alive because McAllister didn't want Carlton playing in Sydney. Our club has existed for the most part to survive. Survive & little more. But then how could we then go and make a Grand Final then? Why is Sydney there?

          I just never actually believed that this club would ever ever make it. To think that we are on the verge of doing just that is perhaps the most overwhelming thing of all. I have yearned for the day we held that Premiership cup on THAT day in September. Now that we are so close, I have to admit that I don't know whether I am either mentally equipped nor prepared for it. To be honest the thought of being teased by being SO CLOSE scares the living daylights out of me.

          I kept looking up at that scoreboard last night shaking my head thinking that I was in some warped dream. I was either comatose with stunned shock or shaking my head with eyes-a-welling just gazing upward. "Something was wrong? Why is Sydney up there on that scoreboard?" How could this be happening? This doesn't make sense. Help" I kept thinking to myself.

          You can read what is happening on the field in the media. But how are YOU feeling right now? What were the emotions you all felt last night? Please, open up, dig deep. I want to read it all.

          I'm going to bed. Am getting all glassy-eyed typing this. Will see you all tomorrow. And wake up wondering when the dream will end.

            Amen, JF. Never have fans of a club suffered so much for so long. Sure, the Saints have a rather large collection of woodware, but they haven't had anywhere near the amount of off-field dramas we have.

                          Can we wish Kerry luck for the All-Ireland Final on September 25th?

                                Somehow, I don't think this would get past the AFL.
