Well, an ebay rule of thumb is that the more positive feedback a user has, the more comfortable you are dealing with them. What Ann means by zero bidders is people with no feedback at all, good or bad - which means you don't know if they're genuine or not.
The problem is that once the auction is completed, it is then up to the two parties to arrange payment - so the seller can just disappear if they want to.
I reckon a lot of the bids went to memorabilia shops. They'll frame it, jack up the price and sell it.
