      He should seriously stick to covering RL, a code he actually knows something about.

      It is when he attempts to cover soccer that his journalistic standards sink to new depths. Kind of like Peter Fitzsimons but minus the interlect and quit wit. Seriously, the guy cannot even spell!

      What would a Sydney RL journo know about our club's history at the Lake Oval? The "AFL has only existed since 1982" line of thinking will only help denude the game of its rich sense of tribalism and history in the eyes of its more impressionable followers, newer supporters to the game in NSW. That serves the Telegraph well, methinks.

      As a sticker I saw in Newtown said, "Are you informed? Or is your News Limited?"

          While people buy their papers it makes them think we actually give a rats what they think. Don't read them! Chesterton is a dull old barfly 20 years past his use-by date. I'm sick of lazy sports journos who know less about their supposed special subject than the fans do, and then claim their ignorance is because that sport is not valid.
