As soon as announcement was made about Barry being charged for striking, the odds for Swans to win in GF got worse. I've just checke dthe Sportsbet and it moved from $2.00 in the morning to $2.10. Interesting.

Of course we can. What though the odds be great or small
Swans will go in and win over all
Collingwood beat the Eagles on the MCG in round 9, and the Bulldogs in round 20, and they don't have Bazza either. Collingwood were also an injury-riddled side by that time, but that did not stop them winning.
The Eagles have not won a game outside Perth since July 8; and that win was a lucky win over the Kangaroos by 4 points. Since then, we defeated them comfortably at the SCG in round 17, the Bulldogs had the game beyond doubt by half time at the MCG, and at Kardinia Park Geelong held the Eagles to the lowest score by any club this season.
The Eagles have concerns of their own. Two of their players that played in the prelim are doubtful with injury, Matera is also doubtful with injury, and Gaspar has a date with the tribunal."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

i'm a little uncomfortable with this poll as it could give an appearence of arrogance.
i'd be more comfortable with a "can we" poll rather than a "will we".
as nmwbloods would sagely put it....
hubris.then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i knowComment
