Hi and welcome to Round 4 of the 2003 SFA Premiership Season.

Last week saw Round 3 completed and already Sydney Uni & UNSW/ES have been the form sides of the competition.

Wollongong 18.10=118 defeated South West Sydney 9.4=58 at North Dalton Park
First quarter saw Wollongong totally dominate proceeding at North Dalton Park kicking the first seven goals of the match at establishing a 46 point lead at the first change.

Second Quarter saw the game even up but still Wollongong had a hefty lead at half time of 52 points

1/2 Time: Wollongong 10.7=67 South West Sydney 2.3=15

Third Quarter saw more of the same attacking football from Wollongong, kicking 4 goals to 2 taking an unassailable lead of 67 points into the last change.

The last quarter saw South West Sydney put some respectability on the scoreboard, kicking 5 goals to 4 but Wollongong come out winners by 60 points.
Final Score: Wollongong 18.10=118 defeated South West Sydney 9.4=58

Best for Wollongong was K. Longmore and J. Allie was named the best for South West Sydney

Now to the game at Dukes Oval where Penrith played host to UNSW/ES

    UNSW/ES 24.11=155 Penrith 11.4.70

The match started at a fierce pace with Penrith and UNSW/ES going goal for goal until the first change where UNSW/ES held a slender 1 point lead. Penrith coach Stephen Allen at the quarter time huddle implored his team to go harder at the ball.

    UNSW/ES 4.2=26 Penrith 4.1=25

The second quarter began much like the first quarter with both teams going goal for goal before UNSW/ES kicked a goal just before the siren to take an 11 point lead at half time

    UNSW/ES 8.7=55 Penrith 7.2=44

The third quarter saw UNSW/ES start to motor away from a struggling Penrith side, kicking 7 goals to 2 to take an assailable 41 point lead into the last change

The last quarter became a formality as UNSW/ES kicked a further 9 goals to 2 to win by a comfortable 85 points.

Best for UNSW/ES was D. Archer whilst first year player Paul Webster was best on ground for the mighty Rams

The match of the round will be between UNSW/ES and Parramatta at Village Green.
UNSW/ES are coming off a hard fought win against Penrith last weekend and Parramatta will be looking to get back on the winners list and this should be another close, tight contest.
