    Club Line Ups 2006

Just interested to hear of any changes in club line ups for 2006. If someone in the know could let me know of any gains and loses for particular clubs it would be appreciated.

I have not heard much about new signings for clubs at all.

And you probably wont hear of any new signings from any club,as all on here play their cards close to their chest.(although i hear Tigers coach isnt too happy with some info being leaked, which is fair enough)I can tell you that the NorWest Jets had a fella named Matt Lloyd turn up to training....No kidding.

Would that be the Matt Lloyd that played for Sydney (early 90's IIRC)

If only it was the better known Matt Loyd.

Its a shame more signings arent spoken about. Im sure it would not hurt anyone if they were put on this forum. People are going to be seeing them shortly anyway.

ECE normally post most of their new new recruits on their website. Unfortunately some people on this site in particular seem to see this as a declaration of their ability to win the coming seasons flag rather than as information for the general Sydney Football public. This may be a small deterant to other clubs.
The thing is though that the Sydney footy community is so small that most clubs know what the others are doing anyway so there is really nothing gained by keeping things secret.
All clubs will know the majority of others clubs lists pretty soon anyway.

            - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Well said Jacks, the anonimity of those critics is laughable at best. For those who asked,he's a RAAF man, posted to Richmond from Epping in the Diamond Valley FL.Big and handy, and the name has his position stitched up already!!!Got me excited.Has Matt Arbon trained at all this year Oscar?Or anyone else from the nest, can you tell me?

Last spotted at the Big Day Out. Seemed to have a number of companions following him around. I beleive some of the bands were a little upset as he was attracting more groupies than they were.
I know everyone at the nest is hoping to see him on the track soon. A player of his talent would be hard to replace.

                  Jacks,
You appear to be in the know down ECE land. Is it true that the mercurial Mannix Klinge has been spotted training down at the nest? He would surely be a handy pickup for the club.

                        House,
Mannix was down at the club prior to Xmas and the senior coach was heard to say that he was impressed with how trim Mannix was looking. Unfortunately I have not seen him back at training since the break.
Mannix is a great guy to have around the club and I am pretty sure that Rohan is hoping to see him back at training as he definately lifts the mood around the club.

My info is that Wests have lost a few guys.
Gambers is apparently travelling overseas and Bradfield and Brewster are reported to be playing north of the border.
Dale Odgers has supposedly retired again but may make another come back.
Withers and Lees will be there forat least one more year and Fiddler is still deciding whether his body can get through another year.
This is all hearsay at the moment and yet to be confirmed but I have heard it from a couple of sources.

From what I have seen of St George so far, they're looking remarkably sharp. Some solid offseason recruiting, including a few from interstate and plenty of returning players, has bolstered their ranks.

2006 is shaping up to be the year of the Crow.
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.
