Wasn't there Pekay, but I understand that on a very windy day for footy, East Coast won by 9 points.

Can only comment on the ground I was working at, but Campbelltown were very undermanned and copped a flogging off Pennant Hills 2 (10.10 70 to 0.0 0), East Coast beat St George by about five goals, Wollongong beat Western Suburbs, Willoughby Wildcats downed Pennant Hills 2 and in the last game on day one - ground two - Wollongong killed Campbelltown.
The Gong was leading 16.8 104 to 0.0 0 with 5:30 still on the clock in the second half (2x20) and the Roos were down to only 13 players.
        Mercy rule came into effect.
Apparently Campbelltown had large numbers playing in a senior practice match, but you would be please to know that Wollongong looks very good.

The only results I know on Sunday were easy wins to East Coast over Pennant Hills, Balmain over Greater West, North Shore beat Willoughby (Wildcats only loss IIRC), and when I left, St George and Campbelltown (Rams players back in) were locked in a tight battle.
