Kanga , Hally and the alike who are going around talking to these Wests , Crows youngsters whatever have every right to do so , unless these players are contracted to a club which I imagine none arent there is nothing holding those players to that club and they have every right to go wherever they want and anyone can approach them . If a player is unhappy they will leave , players at clubs I used to play with however am now over the hill , players used to be offered money to go to the Powerhouses and yet knocked it back cos they loved the joint .

IF players dont like it they will leave and the clubs dont poach players , players agree to go ....it rests with the players ...i believe every player in SFL can talk and say YES to a club or No !!!

Kanga has every right to nab the West Boys and Hally has every right to nab the 5 young crows he has nabbed ( Go the Dockers ) ......

In conclusion I cant wait for the 2007 Season set to be a ripper !!!!!!!

Hang on champ! Campbelltown have only approached one player from Wests....and he went there from our club. There must be a lot of young blokes leaving the Crows as we have signed 2 last week also. Who are the young blokes joining the Dockers?

Have you signed Withers kanga? Who are the two young blokes you have signed from the crows? I have heard a whisper there could be a big name crows player on his way out also.

yeh kanga if you have signed these crows players surely you could enlighten all of us as to who they are.

I've heard of your recruitment tactics "lie, lie lie" but i suppose if your club has nothing to offer it is the only way to recruit a kid from a rival club.

What you have told these kids is a disgrace and they are now pondering there future after finding this out.

Considering St Georges success of having players go on to bigger and better things (e.g Aaron rogers, Declan Donohue, dylan Addison) what exactly are you offering these players to further there career

And yes St George have produced some players that have gone on to better things, but do the names Earl Shaw, Chris Oliver, Matt Withers ring a bell Ali? They all went and furthered there careers playing footy in other states like the St George boys you have mentioned.

Anybody who is at a club where kids are being poached by another club in the wrong way would be angry.

I am lead to believe that most players are actually quite happy to not have been approached as most wish not to be associated in any way to certain people, and are happy at, and to stay at a club where there mates are and will always be.

you seem to be pretty close with kanga yourself so why dont you tell us all what was offered to these two kids, which still havent been named, and we can then decide whether or not my comments about recruitment tactics are valid.

Finally im not sure what you are getting at by naming Earl shaw, matt withers and chris oliver?
it is a proven fact that the st george club has the best record of local kids and players going on to bigger and better things, i really should have put the words 'just to name a few' in.

the only bell i hear ringing is Kanga's phone:

I don't see what the fuss is about or what the problem is.
If we had clubs owned by Russian billionaires flashing their chequebooks around to build superclubs that ensured only a couple of clubs could ever be competitive, then it would be a problem. But that's hardly the case here.
Players will switch clubs for all sorts of reasons, but rarely for money. And if an offer from a rival club comes their way, they're always free to say no.

I was getting that they are a few of the players from C'town that have gone on to better things as you were trying to say that you could not further your football at C'Town. I would think that penno would have the best record of players going on to better things.

I was actually referring to Withers stint in the WAFL before returning to Sydney.

With all due respect, Earl is very much a Penrith product and spent the proverbial five minutes at Campbelltown.
