SYDNEY AFL NOT SYDNEY SWANSComment

No fixtures for this year yet. Hopefully it won't be too far away - it was late January last year when they came out so they're probably planning to do the same again.
is2SWaNz, the fixture William Wallace is waiting for (and so am I, and most of the regulars on this board), is the fixture for the local Sydney AFL competition. Although hopefully the Sydney AFL will take note of is2SWaNz's link and ensure the Sydney AFL finals don't clash with Swans' home games again.

ok then i ask another question....... is there or will there be another pre season comp like the villies pies comp and or will any one take it upon them selves to create one... or would that get knocked on the head due to the condtion of grounds...... surely a nsw based pre season comp would get a bit of attention... open to newcastle, canberra and who has taken over from our best friend at nsw afl from bp?????????Comment

There is the International Rules day between the NSWGAA clubs and a selection of Sydney AFL clubs - NSWGAA have yet to decide on a date.
I reckon they will put on a great day this year.
I also recommend a matc between the Sydney AFL rep team and the NSWGAA side at the end of the year.See me run a marathon again as a leprechaun?

Rooster (Regarding BP)
Rooster,
Further to your enquiry as to who is to replace BP at the Sydney AFL, I have it on good authority that the league is currently training a chicken to commence employment very shortlyGive it a wash!Comment
