Sorry to SPOIL the party boys, but probably they get some help from Fremantle.

            Correct

            Correct Spoiler.

Offfield events have been first class at Dockers (despite our onfield, that will come though)

            Next year:

Our 18s play a curtainraiser at Subiaco again
End of season trip is a tour to USA and Mexico (mainly funded)
            Dinner with the Dockers
            Wine Tasting
            Karaoke Nights
            Preseason Player Cruise
Comedy Night with standupd comedians (last rd this year)

Most of the events are very partner friendly (with exception of our Wild Turkey sponsored poker nights) and held in suitable venues.

Apart from the footy, this is the reason I decided to stay on and all the committee have been honourable.

              Hally,

Love the "this is the reason I decided to stay on " line?

P.S. Should be a cracker night with all those stand up comedians?
              Will all 1st & 2nd's get up?

              Sorry l forgot you don't have 2nd's.

Who are the U18s playing? - The Peel Thunder Under-9s?))

Surely there are enough laughs on the field thi syear without another comedy event. Wine Tasing a reason to stay on - now I have heard it all.

                  Hally,

The footy trip to USA should be a cracker, I am glad you got paid enough off the Dockers to go, the skull games will be pretty harsh if your the only bloke on the trip. The wine tasting should be conducted after games next year. As for the Kareoke night, i would suggest that it's not worth sacrificing skills sessions to practice singing. I agree with The Gun regarding the comedy night. Maybe it is worth considering charging players to view the video's on a monday night and instead of calling it a "review session" call it a comedy night and sell tickets to the opposition featured in the video. It may not be long before we see the dockers run onto the ground in a conga line. Let the good times roll!!

                      Nah Chaz,

More relieved that he won't be comming near anyone else's club other than Balmains. It's great to hear the senior coach of a club saying that besides the footy the reason he's there is for the partner friendly social events. Not that their is great junior potential, a united board, not that they are looking to recruit well, not that their sponsors for 08 are going to be supportive. No Chaz their is no jealousy comming from me mate. I cannot believe that the club didn't sign up an outstanding leader like him for 5 years like the tiges did with Terry Wallace.

Very unlike you Bryan to be so bitter! If they are happy with him its nothing to do with us.Perhaps some other clubs need to get an AFL Club on board to sponsor them properly. Balmain are obviously going to be cashed up to buy some players through their relationship with Fremantle. East Coast also have a lot of money. They get cash from the Weagles. Balmain have been embarassingly baaaaaaaaaad for a long time. Here is their chance to turn it around and give the other clubs a run for their money. Dont SPOIL their day in the sun Bryan. It has been a long time coming.

Norris, your half-full attitude and goodwill to all on this website are a welcome breath of fresh air.

Still, for the life of me I cannot work out how a club that requires its commitee (and I use that term loosely) to run water and forfiets Reserve Grade can sell over $30,000 of raffle tickets.

Either a case of gross mismanagement, totally stupid sponsors or an insanely stupid deal that Freo have provided.

Still, good luck to 'em, won't make a bit of difference with the coach and commitee they have......

why are all you old women so concerned with what balmain are trying to do.
surely other clubs have raffles and fundraisers throughout the year or am i wrong?
