The BIRD wont be flying away SPOILER. He was a little dissapointed with the attendance when he was down before xmas and expressed that it would have to be much better when we return in terms of senior player numbers on the track. As with most clubs im sure this is the case with the older guys having a little rest before resuming in the new year. Dont get too excited mate im sure all will be fine after first week back.

Mate i said older guys not pensioners. The main ones i was refering to were the older/senior players who generally dont get down till after xmas or have had other commitments. Marty, Fretters, Withers, Leesy, Bj, Foro, Everson, Mendola,Skuse, that he hasn't had a chance to talk to yet and obviously leave quiet a hole by not being there as yet.

You need to start thinking a lot more, both football wise and politically.

And what does my opinion that the Australian Labor Party are a bunch of clowns who don't give a damn about anybody inland of the Great Dividing Range got to do with the fact that it is sometimes bloody near impossible to decipher anything you've got to say?

I hope to be proven wrong about the ALP, but we came that close to losing our farm under both Hawke and Keating (24% farm interest rates - you reckon it's bad now, ha!) I'm sure you'll forgive me if I'm wary of what might happen this time.

Anyway, back to footy - I've never been good at Cryptic Crosswords but I assume from what others have said that you are saying Steve Bird might desert Campbelltown and chase Hally's job at Balmain?
Can't see why that would happen...

Exactly right BeeEmmAre. Birdie isn't going anywhere. As another thread shows on this site people that are ill informed seem to like to talk **** about the Blues when they have no idea(see Camden Thread) They are all welcome to attend Monarch next tuesday if they like to see for themselves that Birdy and Chook Free are both on board for next year. I might even buy em a beer....
