Noticed their coaching appointments for 2009, Chris Hughes to Seniors, great move.. Reserves, Darren Curry. T-Rock, Marto, your man in charge Warren would've been wise to follow up on his reference check to our president about him, trust me. Our pres didnt want to reply with just an email, too much to write.
Camden now join the list including Pemriff, Cronulla Nor-West and Parra that have gien him employment in various spots.
    GOOD LUCK WITH THAT ONE!!!!!!!!
Having said that, he is a nice bloke to be honest, heart in the right place.
i think thats why he got the twos job because doesnt stick around so i heard, but im sure marto or trock would take on the job if they were needed

Pekay, just a small correction mate, we never gave him a job at Penrith. He did apply for the coaching job a number of years ago saying that he had played for West Adelaide. Thankfully we did our due dilligence and contacted Westies who told us that they had never heard of him.

It hasn't stopped him from applying for the past three years either.

He lobbed at Parramatta who cheerfully announced his appointment on their website stating that his father had played 200 games for St.Kilda!

It's fair to say I was pretty surprised when I saw that you blokes had taken him on a couple of years ago.

I guess Camden's about the only club he hasn't had a go at.

He's tried everywhere and I think from memory listed East Coast as an employer as well at one stage.

TRock your ground looks picturesque so Im sure hell find the change rooms will be more comfortable than Cronulla's.

My apologies DLH, i did think he had a job there, i was aware that he re-applied many times though. Hell, he even had the gall to ask our president if he would consider his application this year!Needless to say, he was given no reply.
For the record, we were happy to take him on in Reserves (even after i knew of his background-i asked 3 mates at Parra for references,3 of their longest serving players, trusted blokes, who said, better to give him the 2s if anything) but he wasn't happy that i had the 1s job, i think he attended 2 or 3 sessions in pre-season, came to our golf day, promised all the sponsors in the world, didn't stick around through trials. Subsequently, we had to find another coach for Round 1.
By the way, to the mods, i don't find any of this slanderous or defaming, if it is, take it all down. Its general info.

I had heard some whispers he wasn't a good choice, but didn't even know he was a consideration until his appointment was announced at presentation night. From the sounds of things, he has a lot of fans around in Sydney footy!!!

Good luck to him at Camden though, he will need it!! Being a magoo's coach is the hardest job in footy. Hughsey as firsts coach was the best move, will work really well particularly with the younger guys. The move should have happened this year....sorry Radar!!
            Time to play the Game!!!

No need to apologize t-rock. Even I knew it was time to go, as I'm sure you knew it was time to retire rather than embarrass yourself with another year of poor playing performance.

It's alright PK, I didn't listen to him or take any notice when he was the coach, so I definately don't now!!

God help the club he does get involved with....maybe Campbelltown South U10's might give you a shot, hey Radar?

A bit to advanced for my knowledge T-Rock. Anyone who made u captain (ie me) obviously has no idea what they are doing.

If there is still anyone at the Sharks from the mid-90s period, I believe they could provide an interesting reference as well.

Hey our change rooms are great - the raw sewerage is designed to try and get our 5 foot eleven KPP's to grow a few inches....
maybe some AFL money can be put into areas of Sydney that aren't north of the Harbour and we could get some better facilities....

haha - yeah that name makes me laugh.... Can't remember where he said he was from but we worked out when he couldn't kick or catch that he was full of it.... Reserve grade coach though - he may be capable of that - we will see I guess.
